Fleur is an amazing helpful host. The property looks exactly like the photos provided. The neighborhood is quiet and the people are very friendly. You are within walking distance to transportation.

A little bit of perfection.

So good I'm booking again!

Everything as listed, didn't get to meet the owner but excellent communications. The apartment was presented perfectly. An ideal location for me, Imperial Wharf took me where I needed to go.

Megans on the Kings Road is good for breakfast and casual evening meal, The Rose a good bright and open pub with a busy local vibe, Lots Road pub and restaurant has an interesting menu and is good for an evening meal.

Walking up to town via the Kings Road and Saachi gallery is well worth it, and good for your legs.

A lovely flat located in Chelsea

Fleur was a most gracious and helpful host. She met us at the flat and showed us around. She was very helpful with recommendations and made herself available if we needed anything. The flat was clean and well appointed. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would return again!

Delightful apartment - significant aircraft noise

I rented the apartment for 9 nights over Xmas 2015. The payment and access arrangements were seamless and owner Fleur was very responsive to all my requests. This was my first experience with HomeAway. However to be honest I have to say I have mixed feelings about the apartment. On the positive side, It presented as spotlessly clean, light and airy (notwithstanding it being located in the basement) in a quiet and eclectic neighbourhood.The description of apartment was accurate and reflected that provided on the website with the exception of its environment. as addressed below. The bed was very comfortable. There was more than adequate linen provided. The kitchen was well fitted out and included a Nespresso coffee maker. The living area is comfortable, cosy and very spacious for a 1BR. Wifi and cable TV is provided. The apartment is only 3 min walk from New Kings road which provides a reliable and regular bus service to Victoria and Fulham Broadway. There is a Testro supermarket, pubs and restaurants at nearby Imperial Wharf only 8 min walk. Turning to the negative side ( and I must say I find it incomprehensible and worrying that entire previous reviews have omitted mention of this), is that the apartment, as is much of south Fulham/Chelsea, is directly overflown by jet aircraft on a relatively low descent into Heathrow airport from the ungodly time of 4.30 am until 11.30 pm . 24/7. The noise is loud, relentless and continous with arrivals occurring very 1- 2 minutes. I found sleep to be disrupted and fragmented. But of course if you are out and about for the majority of the day this would may not consider this be an issue. For my own part the apartment layout and amenities are highly rated but sadly for the foregoing reasons I would not recommend the property to others.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review, I am so sorry to hear that you were disturbed by the planes - as you point out not one single guest has mentioned this before. With so many repeat guests and having happily lived in the property for 10 years myself, I can only assume that this is not a problem for the majority.

Perfect flat in excellent location

We stayed in Fleurs' beautiful flat for one week in late October. Fleur gave us all the information we needed prior to arrival and along with other excellent reviews we were confident our choice was a good one. In fact, on arrival all our expectations were far exceeded. To be greeted by Fleur, who is so friendly but not at all intrusive, a little basket of goodies and the most beautiful flowers made us feel incredibly welcome. The flat is just gorgeous, very stylish and comfortable. There was literally nothing lacking, we found the flat very warm, the heating is very efficient. The shower (over bath) was great with good water pressure. All the inclusions in the listing are top quality, the Nespresso machine was great!. The weather was not good enough for us to enjoy the lovely little garden but I could imagine in warmer months it would be delightful. We really felt at home in this flat, it is a short and very nice walk through Westfield park to a bus route with buses every few minutes. There are great restaurants within walking distance and the area is quiet and feels very safe.This flat represents extremely good value for money, given its close proximity and ease of access to central London, I would highly recommend it and hopefully will have an opportunity to stay again in the future

This is a peaceful little corner of Chelsea but within minutes you can access all this vibrant city has to offer; here are just a few of things that may take your fancy.....

Go for a morning stroll in the lovely green space of Westfield Park, which is less than a minute away... Kick your heels through the leaves and you are directly on Kings Road with its legendary shops and nightlife. Alternatively start your day with a walk along the river, coffee in hand, at Chelsea Harbour. For the more energetic go running along the Embankment; the Thames is less than 5 mins away. Browse the amazing interior design and antiques shops for which this part of Chelsea is known. The Chelsea Design Centre is less than 5 mins walk.

There are great transport connections here - a 10 min bus ride will take you to Sloane Square tube station where you can pick up the District & Circle Line and access the West End, the City etc . Hop on the 325 bus and you are at High Street Kensington in 15 mins, Notting Hill in 20 mins.... The C3 bus on the other hand will get you to Earls Court in under 10 mins.

Imperial Wharf Station is less than 5 min away in just one stop you visit an exhibition at Olympia or change at Clapham Junction and catch one of the frequent connections to Gatwick Airport or Brighton. So the world really is your Oyster card!

The fashionista will not want to miss out on Sloane Street & Knightsbridge .... Harrods, Harvey Nichols and every Designer imaginable .....

And the football fan may visit close by Stamford Bridge.....

If history is more your thing, this is an excellent base from which to reach the Natural History Museum, the V&A ,The Tate Modern - all within 30 mins bus or tube.

If you love the theatre hop on a bus to cutting edge Royal Court on Sloane Square or black cab it to The West End.

The foodie will not be disappointed - Dotted around you you will find Gordon Ramsay's 3 Michelin star restaurant, The River Cafe, La Famiglia, Chutney Mary etc etc. Lovely Farmers Markets and great little Chelsea pubs offering cosy bar meals.

Live like a Londoner catch a water taxi to the city...see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament from the Water.

Or you can have a drink and read a book in the local pub.

And if you still have the energy hit the world famous nightspots in walking distance .... 606 club, 515, Embargo 59
