Convenient, comfortable and clean.
This apartment was wonderful for our recent 1 week vacation in London. It was the perfect location near a bus route, but also 10 minute walk to the underground, near a few restaurants, grocery and even a park. Seemed like a safe quiet neighborhood. Apartment looked like photos online and had amenities as expected in description. Owner was very responsive by email. Thank you Fleur!
This was our third visit to London in recent years. We thoroughly enjoyed the location of this apartment where we stayed for 2 weeks. Unlike a previous review, we were totally unaware of air traffic. As a matter of fact, because the apartment is located on a dead end street, we thought the location was actually quiet and peaceful. The bus was a 1 minute walk away and we made our way to the tube station in no time. We had no issues with the apartment itself, everything was as pictured. The bedrooms are generally very small in London (by North American standards) so we weren't surprised when we had to climb over each other to get out of bed! All in all, a wonderful stay. We would definitely rent again.
First trip to London
Nice, clean flat located in a wonderful area of London. We were close to several options for public transport, which made it easy to get around the city. There were several places to eat nearby and 2 pubs within a 5 minute walk of the flat. Fleur was really easy to reach for any of our needs. The plane noise from Heathrow that have been mentioned were not an issue and were rarely heard. For our first trip to London, this was a wonderful place to stay. Thank you for letting us rent stay here!
Nice light and clean flat on the edge of chelsea, very easy access to transport and shops and places to eat,,on the down side very noisy as it is under the flight path to heathrow airport so a lot of aircraft noise and upstairs neighbors very noisy in the late evening. Fleur was not there to let us in but her instruction where very clear so no problem there. Also noted there where no complementary goodies as mentioned in the add. Apart from that a relatively nice stay, but would not stay again far to noisy.
Excellent spacious and well equipped flat
We were staying ten nights in London so we wanted a flat where we could spread out and enjoy a home away from home. Fleur, the owner was very prompt in replying to requests and questions which is always a bonus when planning a holiday.
We were delighted by the all the facilities provided especially the choice of press or Nespresso machine in making coffee! The stove had four burners as well as an oven and grill, the wifi was quick and the satellite and Apple TV was also appreciated as we are both sixty and need to relax at the end of a day out and about.
Fulham Broadway tube and shopping centre was an easy 15 minute walk away and there were lots of buses even closer along the Kings Rd and Fulham Rd.
My only minor complaint is that the washing machine did not have a drier function and though there is a clothes drying rack, it wasn't very quick to dry thicker clothes this way.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the flat to friends.
Well located for the City. Lots of good shopping within a few minutes of the area.
Not one negative.
Good transport links on buses rail and tube.
Excellent cafes restuarants and local bars.
