Log cabin...nestled amongst the white birch trees in the White Mts. This comfy cabin has a full kitchen with a living/dining area. The upstairs bedroom has a double bed as well as a twin. The downstairs bedroom has 3 twin beds. There is a 3 season screened porch along with a sun deck with views of the slopes at Attitash.
The cabin was adorable, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Five days later, still relaxed. New Hampshire is beautiful.
I rented this cabin with my fiancé for a weekend and had a great time. It is quite cozy, but not cramped and easily comfortable for 4 or 5 people. The wood stove kept us warm with the below 0 wind chills and kitchen was stocked with all the eating/baking utensils and pans. We loved the location and enjoyed our stay. We plan on returning in the future!
We went to Bartlett last weekend during 4th of July. With 3 young kids this area is great! Close to the cabin there is a little 'beach' (Saco river). They loved throwing rocks. Diana's bath is a must see. Strawberry picking, visit North Conway and highlight was Storyland (down the road). The cabin itself has everything you need (except dishwasher). It is surrounded by trees so a bit dark inside. Anyways, if you can spend your days outdoors, definitely a perfect spot for a short break!!! Thanks Jan
Great location, adequate linens, dishes, pots and size for us. Very quiet and easy drive that allowed us to avoid N Conway traffic yet places to get groceries and dinner. Only cons were it is dusty and the dishwasher was broken.
We stayed her over MA February vacation. It was great. Very close to Attitash and about a 20-25 minute drive to Bretton Woods. It has a open layout. My husband loved the wood stove. We never needed to turn the heat on. There is a nice sun room off the living room. My kids loved having this area to play in. The basement isn't finished but it does have an air hockey table which my family enjoyed. The only down side is that the beds are not very comfortable but we have rented a lot of houses and they rarely are. Also, there is no tub so if you have small children they have to take a shower.
This was a great place for us to stay with our third-grader. It was exactly what we were hoping to find. A real rustic feel with the easy access to the x-country skiing we were seeking. It had a real comfortable feel--a place to relax and unwind. We'll definitely look to return for our next visit to the area, and I strongly recommend it!
Walk to a private sandy beach on the Saco, or up the street to hiking trails. Attitash is 2 miles away with 5 other ski areas close by. Cross-country ski, snowshoe, or even tube at local resorts. You will find great outlet shopping as well as fine dining 12 months of the year not far from the cabin.
Attractions close by include: StoryLand, the Heritage House, Mt. Washington, and the Cog Railroad, canoeing, kayaking, or tubing on the Saco River as well as hiking, mountain biking, golfing, and relaxing. Fall foliage would include: the picturesque Kancamagus Highway or the Conway Scenic Railroad.
