This is a well kept,fully air conditioned saltbox colonial w/ 5 large bedrooms, 2 full baths & a hot/cold outdoor shower. The house will look as it does in the pictures. It is within walking distance to Scarborough State Beach (1/3 mile) but we also own a lot 200 ft from the north end of Scarborough Beach which allows for free, convenient beach parking. You can load up the blanket, toys and the children and conveniently drive to the beach. And makes it easy to retrieve anything you forget and need going back and forth to the house for those things you forget, or lunch or a late afternoon beach arrival for that "Pizza on the Beach" night.
The first floor has fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, large family room, 3 bedrooms, full bathroom, easy access to the back yard patio and private fenced in backyard. The 2nd floor has 2 large bedrooms, full bathroom and loft. House is in excellent condition. It is always clean and it is painted & decorated in bright cheery beach decor. The bathrooms are in immaculate condition as we are very particular about providing bathrooms that meet our guests highest expectations. All bedrooms have high quality King or Queen mattresses. The living room has large, comfy leather furniture.This location is very convenient to all the attractions that Narragansett has to offer - 3 state beaches+town beach. This is a successful, OWNER OPERATED AND MANAGED PROPERTY in business since 2003.

We care about your experience in our home, unlike rental agencies who are cold and impersonal. We live nearby in the summer and respond quickly to all requests. We provide direct access thru our cell phones. For the benefit of all guests, we physically visit the home to be sure it is ready to receive the next week's guests. Also of note. The driveway comfortably fits 5 cars side-by-side. No need to move one car if another is leaving!
Convenient to Everything!!!: Our home is located 5 mins from everything you will need, stores, beaches, restaurants, Point Judith, fishing charters, Block Island Ferry, Narragansett Pier, summer carnivals, Narragansett Art Festival, fireworks, bike path, etc, etc, etc. 30 mins to Newport, Jazz Festival, Folk Festival, Foxwoods, and Providence. A wide variety of restaurants are available around town from those great summer clam shacks to the upscale fine dining. There is also more to Narragansett than the wonderful beaches. Air Show, Jazz & Folk Festivals, Art Festivals in Wickford & Narragansett, Harbor and Bay cruises, Fishing - Surf, Charter Boats, Head / Party Boats, Ferry Service to Block Island, Martha's Vineyard and Providence nearby, Bike Path, Summer Concert Series, Philharmonic Orchestra, Providence Water Fires, golf and many many more activities
Handicap Accessability: The house is not officailly handicap accessible but the porch/patio is 4-5' off the ground and the sliding door into the house from the porch/patio is 3-4' higher than the patio, so it does offer easy access to the first floor and back porch/patio. The main access door is 4 inches off the driveway as well.

We had an amazing vacation this year! Not only is the property itself well laid out and clean but the owners Carl and Betsy could not be nicer people! We have been to Narragansett many times and rented several different houses but we have found our home away from home! With the added convenience of parking by the beach our trecks to the beach were a breeze! Especially because we have small children. The yard was large enough for the kids to run and play and having the property fenced in made it safe as well. We can't wait for next year!!
We'll start off by commenting how easy and pleasant it was to deal the owners of this property. Requests for information were answered quickly in a friendly manner.
The home itself is exactly as advertised. The rooms were nice. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. There were 13 of us the first few days and we were never crowded. The Grandchildren aged 2-7 enjoyed the spacious back yard. There was wiffle ball and some football being played and even the adults took a few swings. The fenced back yard kept them contained and the parents and grandparents worry free.
The beach is as close and a pretty as they say. The parking space provided made accessing it very easy. Carrying the required toys and chairs for the kids can get crazy and that parking space was wonderful.
If you are considering staying here you will not be disappointed.
This was our 4th year at this terrific property. The house is spacious and the back yard is an extra added treat. Great for Wiffle ball and frisbee games. Add in gas grill and picnic tables and your outdoors is a bonus. We were 10 people and never felt crowded and the beds are most comfortable. Kitchen has basic utensils, dishes, and pots and pans. All appliance are in good working order. If anything needs attention the landlord is Johnny on the spot and whatever the issue it is remedied immediately. Landlord is also a great concierge and has great recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. The house is only 1/2 mile from the most beautiful and clean beach in all of Rhode Island and access is extremely easy.
If you are lucky enough to get booked into 5 Charlie you will not regret it.
This house was perfect for 2 families!! We all had ample space to move around and plenty of bedrooms for everyone. The house was very clean and we loved the decor. The fenced in backyard was the best. Very private. We had many corn hole tournaments out there. The kids loved the outdoor shower. The driveway accommodates 5 cars side by side, which was nice because we had many visitors. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone planning to visit Narragansett. We are already thinking about booking again next year. Owner, Carl, was great to work with and very responsive to all my questions. It was a perfect vacation. Thank you again Carl!
This home was perfect. Spacious, clean, decorated nicely and exactly as described in the pictures. The backyard was beautiful and fenced in for privacy. And, I must say, the beds were super comfy!!! The owners were very accommodating and quickly responded to all my questions before we arrived. Great vacation home!
Perfect place for the whole family. A short 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach. If you didn't want to walk, the owners provided a lot to park within 1 block of the beach. Back at the house, the fully fenced in backyard was great to let the kids run around, play a little wiffle ball and other yard games. The community also has a common playground around the corner. The owners were very accommodating and provided anything needed, including making sure there was a spare propane tank on the premises for the grill. The house also had a variety of board games to keep everyone entertained during the one rainy day we had. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation.
The house is located on the corner of Charlestown and Exeter Blvd. It is a little less than 1/2 mile from Scarborough State Beach(Free Parking) 2 min drive, and a 5 min drive to Roger Wheeler State Beach and Salty Brine State Beach), Block Island Ferry, South County Bike Path and the Port of Galilee. It is a short 20 minute drive to many area golf courses, Newport, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos. Narragansett offers many activities all summer long including the Summer Music Series in the Park, Concerts on the Beach, Weekly Dancing at the Tower, fireworks, play grounds, fishing pier, surfing, Pier Market Shopping Village. All are within a 5 minute walk. Come enjoy the splendor of this historic, ocean side resort.
Other Activities: kayaking, boat rentals, fishing-charter boats and party boats, ferries to Block Island and Martha Vineyard and sightseeing cruises. Go-carts, mini-golf and batting cages a short 5 minute ride away.

Deposit is needed to reserve the week. Number of payments is determined on the date of reserving. which includes the balance of the rental fee, $200 cleaning fee and a $500 refundable security deposit. If the reservation is made before the New Year, we can make a 3 payment lease if so desired.
