Overview

About the property

Gulf Front Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 9)

There's nothing so beautiful as the sound of the surf, the view of the turquoise blue green water and pristine white sand beaches. Spend the day just watching the water change colors, watching the surf, the seagulls, the herons and the pelicans splash in the water. Most spring and summer days you'll also see dolphins swimming by. In April, there's the cobia tournament so you see a lot of boats out in the gulf. In late August you may see sea turtles hatching. And in the fall, look for the cownose rays jumping across the water.

Whether you enjoy sitting on the beach or being inside, out of the sun, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico from this spacious gulf front townhouse! Huge great room with relaxing beach decore and a 20'x15' deck/balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and white sandy beach.

Great room features recessed lights, 18' tile floors, Granite counter tops, large couch and double chairs with ottomans. Fully equipped Kitchen with plenty of dishes, blender, toaster, coffee pot, built in microwave.

Cable, HD TV,'s DVD, & Wireless internet.

Floor Plan Description:

2nd floor: The Gulf view great room, large 20x15 balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Guest bedroom with one queen bed and one twin bed and bath. Washer/dryer Closet

3rd Floor: Gulf front Master Bedroom with King bed, TV and private master bath with tiled shower. Private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Also an additional guest bedroom with two queen beds, TV, and private bath.

Ground floor is 10’ x 30’parking, room for 3 cars back to back, the foyer, and a separate studio apartment that is rented separately. The garage is used to store your beach toys and/or bikes.

Although the unit is pet friendly, dogs are not allowed on the beach along the Gulf of Mexico. There is a dog park on the Gulf of Mexico about 10 miles down the beach and you can walk them along the multi-use path or along Santa Rosa Sound .

Navarre beach activities include:

Miles of unspoiled white sandy beaches along the Gulf of Mexico and the intercoastal waterway for shelling, swimming, kayaking, sailing, fishing, waterskiing, parasailing, jet skiing, snorkeling, surfing, windsurfing, and wildlife viewing.

Multi-use path runs the length of the Island for biking, walking, or jogging. You can rent bikes, kayaks, and surf boards by the week or day at very reasonable rates.

Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary artificial reefs have been placed in Santa Rosa Sound and one to be built in the Gulf of Mexico for Snorkeling.

The longest fishing pier on the Gulf of Mexico is less than 2 miles east of 'Island Time'. It's great for fishing or watching people pull in some big ones. They also have a Bar & Grill with live music.

Love the sunsets at Juana's Pogoda's. It's also entertaining in the summer to watch the volleyball tournaments there and usually they have live bands on the weekends.

Free concerts are held in the park at the foot of the Navarre Beach Bridge on Thursday nights 6 PM- 8PM in the summer, and Pensacola Beach hosts free concerts on the gulf on Tuesday nights. It's a beautiful 20 minute drive through the National Seashore to shop, eat, and see other places on Pensacola Beach as well.

Another must see while you're here is the Naval Museum in Pensacola, Home of the Blue Angels.

About Terri

The first time I saw the beaches on the Gulf of Mexico was in 1981. It was truly the most beautiful scenery I'd had ever seen. It had been my dream to have a place of my own on the Gulf. Now, I have two. I've lived on Navarre Beach since 1991. I bought 'Island Time' in 2000. I had 4 wonderful and amazing years living there and saw dolphins jump up out of the water, watched sea turtle nests hatch and assisted them to the gulf, picked up star fish one morning, and the birds... pelicans, seagulls, herons, sandpipers are abundant & beautiful. In 2007, I decided to offer it as a vacation rental. I enjoy meeting people from different places and hope they enjoy life on the Gulf of Mexico from ' Island Time' as much as I have.

Terri purchased this townhome in 2000

What makes this townhome unique

'Island Time' is a two mile walk or bike ride to the Longest Fishing Pier on the Gulf, the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center or Juana's Pagoda & Sailor's Grill. If you have bikes, you can bring them & keep them in the garage.

Quiet, relaxing beachfront vacation

  • 5 of 5

The property was very nice and exactly as described in the listing. Absolutely no surprises. There was plenty of room for our group of 8. We loved being able to go out the back door and walk directly to the beach. It's a beautiful location with great views! The furniture was comfortable and kitchen had all the dishes, cookware, and small appliances we needed. Terri was easy to contact and communicate with.

Total paradise!! Can't get any closer to the Gulf!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This unit is awesome!!! Two story paradise right on the Gulf and its pet friendly!! All tile floors makes it easy to keep it clean. Newer stainless steel appliances are awesome! Two balconies with chairs great for sunbathing or star gazing. Beds are super comfortable, best sleep I've had in years. Parking is plentiful. You can easily park 3 cars in a row. If you have more cars there is a parking lot right next door. Plenty of towels, bedding, and toilet paper. Terri was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be back.

Great Location, Beautiful Beach, Out of the Way Yet Close Enough to Plenty

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island Time. We visited mid-October and the weather was perfect! The view from the balcony was beautiful and we were able to sit on our deck at times and watch dolphins swim by. There were 6 of us total and it was plenty spacious and clean. Terri was great to deal with as well.

Navarre is a great location - its out of the way and not as busy as other areas, but still within driving distance. We were within driving distance to the shopping outlets in Destin on one side and the Naval Museum in Pensacola on the other side. It wasn't a bad drive either way.

A couple of recommendations: If you are traveling with small children, bring a baby gate or two. We had two and they came in very handy as the steps are pretty steep and the back of the steps to the top level are open enough that a small child might be able to fall through to the lower level stairs. Definitely watch small children. Also, some of the cookware (muffin pan / cookie sheet) could stand to be updated.

We had an absolute great stay Saturday through Thursday. We did find that it seemed "partiers" showed up nearby on Friday night. Because it's a townhouse, your balcony is connected to the houses on either side. I was not comfortable letting my young son even stay on the balcony by himself since there were so many people next door who were drinking. Also, due to the number of people around, parking got very tight on Friday night.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Navarre & Terri! Island Time was a nice get away and I would recommend again.

We had a great time and plenty of space for the six of us. It seemed like we had the beach to ourselves. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Terrific view!!!

  • 5 of 5

This condo is RIGHT on the beach with a great view of the Gulf. Plenty of space for all seven of us comfortably. We love Navarre and Terri was very accomodating...felt like I was dealing with a friend! The only issue was the sliding glass door was very heavy and hard to move...maybe needs some spray Pam? Otherwise, a great stay...would definitely come back!

Terri was great, she quickly fixed the air conditioning. she also had the dishwasher fixed quickly. The Beach House was great.

We would love to stay there again. Navarre Beach was not crowded (even thought it was the week of the Fourth of July. very light traffic. Lots of shells on the beach and the beach had lots of wildlife.
