Watch lobstermen head out the far side of the cove or return with their catch to the other side of this quiet point of land...buy fresh off the wharf just a walk across our narrow peninsula. A scattering of boats, including our 38 ft sloop which is available for a captained sail charter grace this protected cove. Bring your own canoe or kayak or we will help you reserve kayaks for delivery from SeaSprayKayaking, we have water access throughout the changing tide. Located between Brunswick and Bath, @ 10 mins. from US Rt.1 Cook's Corner, one mile off Rt. 24 heading towards Bailey Island...just off the beaten path yet very accessible.
Local knowledge: Having been both inland and coastal 'Mainers' since 1940's, we will provide area guides, maps, and share our knowledge to help you take advantage of the best of what our Coastal Maine offers!
One-bedroom apartment may be available depending on the reservation schedule. For a single person or couple, you might consider renting the one-bedroom apartment located over the garage portion of the house. Generally only the main portion of the house or the apartment would be rented at one time as we do prefer only a total of 8 persons in residence, however sometimes the rental may overlap a night. Very separate, perfect if bringing a nanny or relative who would like a 'private space'. Light , spacious with wonderful water views.
Rental rate varies based on rental period/length of stay.

Being year round residents of Harpswell and long time 'Mainers', we currently are B&B hosts at our home just a couple miles away. We are nearby to welcome you to the house and share our information about what the area offers. While I came as a summer person...enjoying our family's camp' near the center of the State for all my summers while a young child and teenager...loving Maine, I came back to raise my family in the greater Portland area and now make Midcoast Maine my true home!
Donna purchased this House in 2005
Why Donna chose Sebascodegan Island
We love this house and its location which offers one of the best protected harbors in Harpswell, wonderful for boating and providing access to "open water" as well. Generous proportions and great waterfront...with easy drive to Brunswick for shopping, or the several little stores in spread through Harpswell.
What makes this House unique
Quiet, spacious rooms and views, within few feet of a protected cove (a part of the coast respected for its kayaking options and natural beauty, FMI see the local website www.HarpswellMaine.org )...this house is accessible to the entire Bath/Brunswick region as well as within a hour of Portland and Rockland with all points between an easy drive.
