The apartment is located approx. 10 minutes on foot or 2 minutes via bus from the main station in Lauterbrunnen. From here all of the areas of the Jungfrau can be accessed via gondola or cog railway, or via the train to Interlaken if venturing further afield. All of the village amenities (restaurants, shops, Coop, Bank, Post Office and Tourist Office) are all within easy walking distance.
The apartment has two good sized bedrooms and sleeps up to five people.
In the master bedroom there is a queen size double bed and in the second bedroom there are two single beds, one of which converts into a double bed if an extra sleeping space is required.
In the living area there is ample room to sit and relax (around the fireplace in winter) either on the sofa or around a dinner table (which can be folded away when not in use to provide extra space). All of the expected home comforts are available for use by guests including a Flat screen 'Smart' 3D TV with international channels, Wi Fi, DVD and CD players and an Apple TV box.
The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery and crockery, as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans. There is a microwave, electric hob, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster and kettle.
There is a large balcony with unobstructed views down the Lauterbrunnen valley, including the local church and the Staubbach waterfall.
There is one bathroom in the apartment, with bath, shower, toilet and wash basin.
Downstairs in the basement, the private utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, as well as a large washing basin. Additionally in the basement there is a communal games room, sauna and heated storage room (with private lockable ski store) for storing skis and other equipment.
If guests do have a car, there is a designated covered parking space.
Travel cots and high chairs are available at a small additional cost if required.
LAUTERBRUNNEN AND THE JUNGFRAU
There are over 500 kilometres of footpaths, 160 km of mountain bike trails, cable cars and railways, adventure sports, climbing and mountaineering areas, waterfalls and alpine lakes - all accompanied by the breathtaking panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
In Lauterbrunnen specifically and within walking distance of the apartment, are outdoor tennis courts (which convert into an Ice rink in Winter), an outdoor Swimming pool and a play park for Children as well as both the Staubbach and Trummelbach Waterfalls.

The 214 kilometres of piste in the Jungfrau region are among the most picturesque in the world, catering for all level of skier and boarder, with long blue runs for beginners to the Lauberhorn world cup run and off piste areas for the more adventurous.
It is not possible to ski in Lauterbrunnen itself, although weather permitting it is possible to ski down to Lauterbrunnen from the Murren Schilthorn side.
From the apartment it is a couple of minutes bus ride to both the Gondola and main train station providing access to the Murren Schilthorn and Wengen-Kleine Scheidegg ski areas. Grindelwald is further afield and can be accessed via train, either directly from Lauterbrunnen or with a combined ski and train run from the Wengen side of the mountain.

We currently reside in the UK but having previously lived, worked and played in Switzerland have an affinity with the country and the mountains.
We love to spend as much of our time as possible in our apartment, skiing in the Winter and enjoying the mountains and outdoor activities throughout the rest of the year.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby). We spent 4 nights over Christmas at this place. It was cozy and comfortable with fantastic views. The location was great and it was very easy to get to Wengen and Murren with a quick walk to the train station. We enjoyed the fireplace every evening and the bathtub was great for cold nights as well. The place is good for small children. James provided a Pack n Play and a high chair at a cost of 20 CHF each. The games room in the basement would be good for older kids. We especially loved the private washer/dryer as we had several loads to do throughout our stay. James responded to emails very quickly. Highly recommend!
We already knew the area so we knew from the apartment description that the location would be fabulous, and the apartment more than lived up to our expectations!
The apartment is spacious, clean, modern and very well equipped. The games room and washer/dryer area were real bonuses.

My friends and I stayed in Lauterbrunnen for 4 nights at the Graham's Ey Hus Apartment and it was an amazing experience. Not only are the views absolutely stunning as soon as you get off of the train station, but they are incredibly beautiful from just looking outside the apartment window. There is a beautiful view of the Staubbach views with no other buildings in the way and a gorgeous view of the rest of the valley.
The apartment was incredibly clean and well kept when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable, with both rooms having spectacular views. The living room was bigger than I expected with a fire place to keep you warm and Apple TV for your convenience. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were clear instructions and advice in a neat packet when we arrived. There were all the necessary essentials (hairdryer, washer, dryer, etc.) as weel.
I messaged James Graham numerous times before our trip with questions about the apartment and suggestions about our trip and he was more than accommodating and happy to help. I was highly impressed and very satisfied with my stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Not only is the apartment great, but Lauterbrunnen is like paradise. I do not think any other place can even come close to the views I saw there. It was absolutely breathtaking.
I will definitely be returning when I get a chance!
The apartment was modern, very clean and very comfortable. All our needs were catered for and the town and surrounding area had everything we wanted for a fabulous long weekend. Will definitely be coming back.
Really nicely laid out, clean and bright modern furnishings, excellent washing/drying facilities and ski storage area. The kids thought the games room fab and really enjoyed playing ping-pong there. A well-equipped kitchen meant we were able to cook for the family - even a crock pot! Very well though out. Covered parking space. Situated right next to bus stop and connections were seamless for getting up the mountain to Wengen. Handy shops nearby.

It was perfect for us. We were 2 adults and 2 children. We loved the village and the waterfall view from this apartment.
The beds were comfortable. Laundry room was an added bonus. Easy access by car to all key tourist points. We just loved it.
