We welcome you to enjoy our newly renovated Beachside condominium. Completely remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Please know that we personally use our beach home several weeks per year, and we hope you find it as comfortable and inviting as we do. A home away from home for your family vacation.

'FUN & SUN' - Unit 542 (Building 5 is beachfront!)

Loggerhead Cay is a favorite place to stay among visitors to Sanibel Island - please read our guest comments!!! The units are very spacious and the pool is one of the largest on the Island. The complex features beautiful tennis courts, shuffleboard and grilling area. The island bike path runs right in front of complex. Beautifully maintained grounds, and fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico from the pool, makes it easy to understand why Loggerhead is so desirable. Location...location...location...Loggerhead Cay is within 1 mile of some of Sanibel's most desirable attractions- restaurants, shopping, and beaches.

Unit 542 is located in building five which is beachfront. The unit has just been renovated. TWO BEDROOMS, TWO BATHS, AND QUEEN-SIZE SLEEPER CAN SLEEP SIX... The master bedroom has a full bath, nice closet, Flat Screen TV, and offers a fantastic view of the Gulf of Mexico. Luxurious bedding and towels ensure a good nights rest. The screened in Lanai overlooks the Gulf and pool and can be entered from family room and master suite. The lanai is furnished with a comfortable outdoor sectional and table with seating for six. Our Lanai is always a favorite among guests! The guest bedroom has brand new (2015) Queen size bed plus twin bunk beds, flatscreen TV and its own remodeled bath. The living room is extremely spacious, bright and family friendly. Two full size sofas and extra seating make it comfortable for larger families. New carpeting has just been installed in November 2017.

Unit is extremely kid friendly: We stock a pack and play, high chair, beach towels, beach chairs and numerous pool/beach toys and board games.

Unit 191 is also available so bring the family or friends. Need more units please let me know - I will find you other units at Loggerhead Cay!

Please note that this condo rents Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise noted in the rate section.

About Erin Fredrickson

Erin and I first visited Sanibel Island in 1999 with our newborn, Ellie. At the time we lived in Chicago and fell in love with many things about the island. 8 years, and 3 more children later, we purchased our unit in Loggerhead Cay. We have since moved to Grand Rapids, MI where we are raising our family.

We have been enjoying the Island now for 13 years and have built many wonderful friendships, and memories on Sanibel. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

Why Erin Fredrickson chose Sanibel

The condo was spacious enough to accommodate a family of 6! Many of the units we looked at were quite a bit smaller. We also loved the view of the Gulf AND view of the pool from our unit. Several of the complexes we looked at the pool was near the road and did not have a view of the Gulf. The pool at Loggerhead has a beautiful view of the Gulf.

In addition, Loggerhead Cay has beautiful well maintained grounds, nice amenities such as grills and tennis, and has a wonderful island location. We can easily bike to restaurants, shopping, beaches and many other island attractions.

We had a fantastic time on Sanibel Island. This property was perfect for my family of four. We spent a lot of time at the pool and beach. We also had a great time biking around the island. The condo is conveniently located near everything.

Perfect winter escape at perfect seaside condo!

Thank you Erin for another great vacation at your condo; so glad we could return to the same unit. Everything was neat, clean and comfortable. We made use of the lap pool every day, and appreciated having beach chairs, towels and cooler available for time on the beach. Your place is lovely, and we hope to stay same time next year.

Great location! Wonderful condo

We really enjoyed our time here. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Everything we needed was there at the condo. The lovely beach is a few steps away and the pool was warm and clean. The residents at the condo association were also very friendly and welcoming. We rented kids for the bikes, and my husband and I brought our rollerblades. We loved biking/blading to restaurants, beaches, playground and icecream! So fun! This location is great! Beach, pool, shops and restaurants all right there. Kids loved playing tennis also! Pack and play and highchair for the baby was super helpful as well.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is in a great location and has everything you need. It was nice having breakfast in the morning on the covered porch with a view of the ocean. The beach is only a short walk and the shelling was excellent. We will be back!

Very nice unit. Thoughtfully set up for guests.

Very good experience. Nice unit with the amenities one would expect for a property of this vintage. Bathroom and kitchen recently upgraded. It didn’t hurt that we had perfect weather for the stay. For the photographers and birders Sanibel is a great destination.

We have stayed at Loggerhead numerous times and this is by far the best condo. Beautiful remodel, very clean and well appointed furnishings. Would love to come back again.
