My family of 6 were perfectly comfortable at this rental. Stocked with everything you need to have a fabulous vacay at the beach. Location was perfect. An overnight parking lot 2 blocks away with ample spaces for extra parking. Can't wait to book this unit again!

The place is very nice in a good location at Mission Beach. I enjoyed our stay and look forward to being able to do it again soon! I would recommend this place to my friends or family as it is perfect!

Everything you'll need for a beach vacation stay!

We absolutely loved this rental. Boogie boards for the kids, beach chairs for mom and dad, a BBQ grille, direct boardwalk access, the emenities of a 3bd2ba house! Undeserstand too that you're getting the entire lower level plus half of the 2nd floor. The other half of the 2nd floor plus entire 3rd floor is a completely different unit. Our only complaint is parking. The tenant upstairs took up the majority of the 2 car garage built for 1984 sized cars, and our small Grand Cherokee would not fit. We got a $55 parking ticket from the main road based on not abiding by the morning's arbitrary city parking signs (construction was going on during our visit and resulted in complete no parking demands along the side the road). There's also no parking along the road directly behind the unit and doing so will result in more parking fines. In summary, we would rent again and just live with playing the parking game!

All parking spots in Mission Beach are very small. Most of the homes have smaller parking spots to allow for more cars to park and most of the homes were built in the 1970-1990's and they did not account for larger SUV's. I do post on our page that the garage fits medium to compact size cars and I also send each guest the same information to each guest before check in. I am very sorry about your parking ticket and I am glad that you enjoyed your visit!

Outstanding Location

Excellent spot in SD. Walking distance to every bar, coffee shop or restaurant you may need. Had no problem parking small SUV in undersized garage and plenty of room to spread out inside. James was very quick to address a broken coffee maker and ensured our stay was pleasant by promptly bringing over a new one. The inside sofas could use replacing but our time was spent on the patio so this was a minor detail. Beach location was outstanding and people watching was unprecedented.

Luxury, comfort & beauty by the sea

This beach house is absolutely perfect, you feel right at home when you walk through the door. The outdoor living space is so much fun and perfect to watch all the beautiful San Dieagians go by. I highly recommend staying at this lovely home. The bedrooms are all comfortable, spacious and very clean, the kitchen is phenomenal. We are looking forward to staying here again, perfect distance to all the fun right in Mission Beach and from Ocean Beach to Pacific Beach! This was the best vacaction we have ever had! Enjoy!!

Very clean and comfortable

My family enjoyed this lovely home. The furnishings were very comfortable and kitchen was well-stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed watching the waves from the master bedroom. There is plenty of space on the outdoor porch. We are locals but rent a beach house each year. The bikes were a bit rusted out. Fortunately, we had brought our own. I would definitely recommend this for a family stay. James was very quick to respond with questions and a small issue that we had with a leaking faucet.

We have 5+ bikes and we replace them each year around Summertime, but due to the proximity to the ocean they rust really fast. I left a few of the older bikes that we replaced there for people to use, but I will stop by the house today to dispose of thosee older bikes and make sure that we only leave the newest bikes there. I am very sorry for this inconvienience. Let me know if you ever need anything else...
