A beautifully presented one bedroom apartment on the second floor of a modern stylish development overlooking the picturesque St James' Church and the surrounding church gardens. The Apartment provides light & spacious accommodation with well equipped kitchen, quality king bed, comfortable sofa bed in the living room & modern bathroom facilities. An excellent wi-fi facility & 2 new TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the living room) and DVD player are provided. The living room gives access to a larger than average decked balcony overlooking the church and grounds. The development offers a high standard finish and secure entry system with lift access to all floors. The area is very quiet and safe.

The property is fairly represented in the photos. The agents were friendly and available for questions. There is a grocery store close by and the tube is not a far walk. I really enjoyed our time at this flat in Bermondsey.

Modern, clean, well equipped apartment near a tube station
My wife and I really enjoyed our stayed here! The apartment is a close walk to the Bermondsey tube station. There's a grocery store very nearby and a 24 hour convenience store right next to the tube station. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The neighborhood was pretty quiet except for Saturday night. The windows do block out most of the neighborhood sound. We arrived at midnight our first night and were met at the apartment for late check in for an additional fee, which we felt was fair. TV and WiFi service were fine. The apartment has a washer/dryer combo that was confusing for us Americans to operate at first. We so appreciated having clean clothes for the second half of our trip.
Comfortable apartment, great deal!
This apartment is attractive, clean and modern. The living room and bedroom are bright and spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped. It's an especially great deal compared to the room you would get in a London hotel for a similar price! You can shop for groceries at one of the many convenient small stores in the neighborhood, or walk about 20 minutes for a full range of restaurant and food choices around the London Bridge and Borough Market area. It's a great place if you like walking along the river. The tube station (Jubilee Line) is only about a 3-5 minute walk. The balcony is a welcome place to sit on warm evenings. The street is fairly quiet and the apartment backs a school and a churchyard, so any noise tends to be church bells or children playing, rather than the roar of traffic that provides the constant soundtrack for so many busier, more crowded parts of London. There is also a pub that serves tasty food about 3 minutes away. I really enjoyed my stay. Francesca and Alicja were very accommodating and helpful. My only suggestion would be an additional fan (there is one in the bedroom) to help circulate air on hot days; with so many lovely windows the living room heats up quite quickly! The wireless was completely problem-free and the TV was set up with a full range of channels. The linens were of a good quality and the bed comfy. Highly recommend!
Lovely and convenient!
We enjoyed our stay here. The unit was very pretty, wonderfully furnished including a great kitchen, and very clean. Tube stop just minutes away. Great grocery store just around the corner. View of park-like church grounds just across was a plus. We would stay again.

The Apartment is located just 2 min walk to the Bermondsey tube station (Jubilee Line) that takes you to central London in just a few minutes - London Bridge 1 min, Westminster (for the Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey 8 min) Green Park (for Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Buckingam Palace 10 min) Bond Street (for Oxford Street, Bond Street and Marble Arch 12 min), also the Jubilee Line takes you to Stratford for the Olympic village in just 14 min.
Borough Market, London Bridge tube and train mainline station is 10 min walk from the Apartment.
Attractions in the area are The Jubilee Walkway and the Thames Riverside Path that are designed to connect the majority of London's famous landmarks such as The Tower of London, Southwark Cathedral,The Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre - all within walking distance of the apartment and the beautiful Southwark Park just 4 min walk from the Apartment.
Walk to Tower Bridge and take a relaxing cruise to the imposing Houses of Parliament at Westminster passing by Embankment or the Royal Naval College and Observatory at Greenwich.
