Private, quiet and an easy walk within the historic Centro to all that San Miguel has to offer. The apartment has a separate entrance above a 300 year old house. Both are a regular feature of the House and Garden Tour.
The apartment is filled with folk art from Mexico, India, Egypt and Russia. It is colorful, fun, tranquil and still in the center of everything. It has a fully equipped kitchen and daily maid service,a phone, fireplace, private patio and wifi
From the roof terrace you can see that you are within the heart of the historic Centro and all the famous landmarks. Great views and a wonderful place to watch the sunset.

Daily maid service.
The colonial town of San Miguel is my home.I live here because it is peaceful and tranquil. The people are gentle and friendly. Mexico is so much more then the coast or border towns often thought os as Mexico. It is a country with a rich history.
The apartment is in centro all museums, cultural activities, shopping and most resturants are within a couple of blocks.
My parents had a wonderful time at your place. It is charming and in a fantastic location. I'm sorry we did't have a chance to meet but am sure we'll be back.
Until next time,
I spent a week in San Miguel at this apartment and could not have been happier. The location is perfect, close to Centro basically a block and half off the main square. The apartment itself was nothing like I have stayed at before as it is designed and decorated in the traditional way for the area.
I golfed almost everyday which I needed a cab to get to the courses. Walking out the door, I never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a cab to come right by my door and you can get anywhere in San Miguel for 3 to 4 dollars. Walking out the door everything is at your finger tips and there is so much to see, the city is vibrant is the only way I know how to explain it.
The owner was incredibly accommodating as I arrived after midnight and with a touch of the flu. Not only was she helpful with things to do, she set me up with a doctor that her handy man took me because my Spanish is not good. Her helper that takes care of the cleaning went above and beyond as I also needed laundry done which was taken care of while I was golfing. Could not have been happier with the accommodations.
My 5 y/o daughter and I visited San Miguel de Allende for the first time in April, arriving just after the Easter celebrations that are so colorful. Our week long stay was fantastic and incredibly memorable for layers of reasons. Meeting Marlene, the owner of our apartment, and enjoying a couple delicious comidas at her place with her lively friends coupled with our action packed days full of the simple pleasures of exploring SM to excursions outside of town we couldn't have asked for more. And when we were just getting started it was time to leave!
Here's how I would promote a trip to San Miguel de Allende:
Take me to San Miguel de Allende!
Experience arts, culture, and world class cuisine in the well preserved, colonial-era, and simply gorgeous San Miguel de Allende. Stay in a fully outfitted private apartment (part of a 350 year old original home) in the historic center of town, located just one block from the famous Jardin and main plaza. Walk to all the sights, museums, parks, and fabulous restaurants and allow yourself to absorb the rich spirit of central Mexico. Live a little and visit a nearby ranch for some horseback riding, rise above it all in a hot air balloon, and then soak your muscles at local hot springs, and maybe grab a bite at Nirvana.
The easy 2 hour flight from LA to Leon and simple shuttle connection to SMdeA makes this gem of a destination even better!
This is truly a lovely apartment- cheerful, perfect location, and ideal for a couple-Especially enjoyed the roof top terrace. Every thing you need is supplied. The owner is very helpful and daily maid service is a real plus. We'll be back next year!
We returned to this vibrantly decorated apartment for a second year -- it's a block and a half from the Jardin and close to restaurants, shops, and the flower, produce, and artisans market. The outdoor space includes a small, well landscaped courtyard and a serene rooftop garden with views of five historic churches. The apartment features colorful decor and excellent folk art with several interesting pieces of furniture and a comfortable king size bed. The owner's staff -- Ana and Jose -- provide smiles plus daily maid and gardening service.
There is not a better location in SM. 1 1/2 blocks from the jardin and around the corner from the biblioteca. The apartment has everything you need and is decorated with art work. A great place to stay.
We recently stayed in this lovely apartment. I wanted to say what a wonderful experience it was. The location can not be beat. The bed was luxurious. The views from the terrace was incredible both in the early mornings and for a glass of wine in the evenings. The kitchen fully equiped though we didn't take advantage of that fact. Since San Miguel has so many great restaurants we mostly ate out. There is a fantastic market around the corner for cheeses, cereal, milk, coffees etc... the basics. Everything we wanted to do was very easy walking. Our dogs were very happy in the apartment with their own little patio. We have stayed in other places in San Miguel in this price range and been less than thrilled. We were very impressed and happy about this new discovery and will stay here again!
