The Twin Villas of Coral Ridge County Club completed a major renovation in late 2014 with all new exterior, privacy courtyard, covered outdoor living spaces, new shared pool, landscaping, outdoor lighting, new PGT windows and doors, new kitchen and furnishings.

The Twin Villas (Islamorada & Key Largo as they are called) are both decorator furnished and located in Coral Ridge Country Club, an upscale residential neighborhood east of US1 and is conveniently located within walking distance to shopping, movie theaters, restaurants and grocery stores.

The Key Largo Villa is furnished with Mexican tiled floors throughout, designer furnishings, including all new stainless kitchen and bathrooms walk in travertine showers and modern vanities. The kitchen is made for a gourmet chef with wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances and huge amounts of work space and separate bar area. The counter tops are quartz with glass tile backsplash and under counter lighting.

The bathrooms are all new with top of the line fixtures. This villas has original works of art and hand woven oriental carpets.

The Twin Villas (Key Largo and Islamorada) share a beautifully landscaped pool ,which is heated for year round comfort.

Lots of outdoor activities are nearby including shopping, biking, boating, water sports, and the beaches.

NOTE: As of November 2, 2015, the City of Fort Lauderdale passed new laws and ordinances to regulate vacation rental properties. There are almost 1000 vacation rental properties listed on Homeaway that are within the City of Fort Lauderdale. Only 43 Properties are legally registered. This property is one of the 43 registered properties.

All potential vacation renters should ask the owner or property manager to provide you with the documented registration information. Each property should carry six different licenses.

I purchased Coral Ridge Twin Villas in 2002 and have been renting these villas as short term vacation rentals since 2004.

The 7 properties in my inventory are all owned by myself and my brother and a business partner and we take great pride in making sure all of our guest are personally welcomed when they arrive at any one of our properties.

My properties are Guaranteed to be 100% Legally Operated Vacation Rentals - No worries of your vacation being cancelled due to City of Fort Lauderdale Code Enforcement shutting down the house you have rented.

As of November 1, 2015, all vacation rentals located in the City of Fort Lauderdale must be licensed by the City of Fort Lauderdale as a vacation rental. All of my properties have every license required to legally operate as a vacation rental including the new City of Fort Lauderdale Licenses. Unlicensed vacation rental properties are subject to closure, fines, penalties and cancellation of reservations.

I am licensed by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulations, The Broward County Tourist Development Department and the Florida Department of Revenue, The City of Fort Lauderdale Business License, Broward County Business License and City of Fort Lauderdale Vacation Rental License . I am happy to provide copies of my license as they are required to be posted in the properties. These are the six licenses are required by every vacation rental.

Part of the new City Ordinance limits occupancy to a maximum of two people per bedroom. Therefore, a three bedroom property has a maximum occupancy of six guests. If the home you are considering, is advertising anything more than two people per bedroom, then they are clearly violating the law.

So if in doubt when looking for vacation rentals, ask the property manager or owner.

Far better than any high-rise hotel.

My best friend and I planned a trip to Ft. Lauderdale, booking originally with one of the beach front high-rise hotels, after further consideration we decided we would be more comfortable in a condo/home. We began our search through VRBO and stumbled upon this property. The house looked amazing and the price was right. Walter was very flexible being that we weren't staying the traditional sat-sat and accommodated our trip. I can honestly say, the pictures look just as the property does in person. We arrived at the property shortly after a big storm had come through and the pool had some debris in it. I called Cliff and mentioned it to him and he said he saw it and was just returning to the property to clean up the pool. No delay in our use of the pool and it was beautiful from that point on. The house was very secure, multiple locks on the doors, we never felt unsafe. My only complaint, and it's not even something that is entirely within the owners control, but there were a lot of millipedes on the property, with many making their way into the home. So I would recommend an exterminator or if one is used, possibly coming more frequently. Again, bugs are a force of nature, I get that it's Florida, I just don't want to sleep with them. After all, this is a higher end rental property and less bugs would be a powerful tool in marketing to the higher end renters. We would definitely use this property again and would recommend that you should too. Thanks for a great stay, Walter & Cliff.

In response to the comment about the millipedes, the property is sprayed every month, and in fact they pest control company was there during your visit but was not able to get access to that unit. We have to be notified of an issue in order to resolve it, and if we had been notified of any bugs during any guests visit, the pest company will always make an immediate visit to the property to spray.

Will never stay at hotel again. Convenient location, comfortable,quiet and cozy

Pool and patio was clean. Kids enjoyed Pool could be a little tight if two families book at the same time. Luckily the other renters opted for the beach most of the week. Fairly quiet during the day and very quiet at night. Short walk to mall. Looking forward to staying again. Highly recommend

Beautiful property, well maintained, located in a lovely neighbourhood .

We spent a month in this property and couldn't have been happier. Very close to the Coral Ridge mall for shopping but surprisingly quiet given its proximity to the commercial area. Great neighbourhood for walking if that's your exercise of choice although no sidewalks. Great outdoor area with pool, sheltered seating area and grilling/outdoor eating area.

More than a mile to the Lauderdale beach areas crossing over the bridge to get there. Bicycles would ease this logistic but if you are older and not into walking then driving to the beach is the best option. That said, parking by the beach is a reasonable cost and lots of it.

All in all it was a wonderful stay. Definitely would consider staying at this property again.

Inside the home is well kept, large kitchen, living and dining areas was more than enough space for our party of 4.

No bathtub in either bathroom if baths are your thing. Beds were very comfortable, mattress in the king bed (where I slept) was softer than my home mattress but I still slept well. Thanks to Walter for setting up the home really well.

Love this place!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this property for the week of Thanksgiving.

It is even better than advertised. The furnishings and decor are beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked. It is in a lovely neighborhood, and just a short walk to Publix and Target. The heated pool is lovely. Walter is very responsive to the needs of his renters. Would highly recommend.

Very nice property. Accommodations were very home like and welcoming. Very clean and well kept. I barely used my car, as everything I needed was whitin walking distance, from groceries, clothing, restaurants and movie theater. The beaches are close by, that's a nice plus. The owners are very nice and helpful. While I was there met some very nice neighbors as well. Its an excellent location and safe. I recommend this location 100%

Outdoor activities: daily snorkel and scuba dive trips, charter fishing boats, party fishing boats, public fishing pier, jet skis and boat rentals, gambling cruises or drive to Everglades for air boat and swamp buggy rides, Indian reservations, alligator farms, nature trails, kayaking, fishing, bird watching.

Shopping: The Coral Ridge Mall is less than a 5 minute walk and the mall shops includes Target, Publix, Movie Theater, TJMaxx and other shops.

The Galleria Mall and The Shops on Las Olas are a 5-10 minute drive. Other shopping includes Sawgrass Mills outlet mall and the world's largest outdoor flea market known as the 'Swap Shop' should not be missed.
