Cozy first floor of Uptown Minneapolis duplex. Large 2-bedroom apartment filled with light and art. There are high ceilings and lots of wood trim with hand-crafted, traditional character. Choose The Red House Uptown Minneapolis for our location, steps away from many great restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, bars and more.
We are family friendly, with toys, games and kids books. Bryant Square Park is down the street. Owner lives about a mile to the south. Upstairs there are two long-term professional renters with a kid and a small dog — they are quiet and respectful. We live very nearby and are available if you need anything. Quality touches abound from fresh roasted coffee, Aveda shampoo and conditioner, soft cotton towels and lots of cozy fresh pillows.
Open floor plan, as you enter the front room, there is a twin-size day bed, which you can use as a sofa or as a bed. The front room with daybed opens onto the living room/ sun-room with windows on three sides and a TV. The dining room is also adjacent to the front room. The larger bedroom with a new queen-size bed is adjacent to the dining room. There is a bathroom off the bedroom with a shower and very deep clawfoot tub. (Disclaimer, if you have a hard time raising your leg up at the hip joint, this shower might not work out for you.) The galley kitchen is near the rear of the house and it is small, but it has everything for cooking. There is a small 8x10 foot bedroom with one twin-size bed and a small desk off the kitchen.
Parking - 1 spot is available on the asphalt pad behind the house, accessible from the alley. Also there is usually plenty of places to park on the street out front or around the corner. It is hard to find a parking spot on Friday and Saturday nights if you have more than one vehicle.

The 4 bus (15 minute ride to downtown) stops across the street. Drive to US Bank Stadium: 10 minutes. High Point Print Center and Pangea World Theater are one block away. This is a busy urban neighborhood and you may hear people talking late at night as they walk back to their cars or homes.

If you bring a dog, you must keep it on a leash and stay with your dog in the yard -- the fence is old and a dog could get out in a couple places.
