Overview

About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6) Near Park City Mountain Resort

You’ll love staying at Snowblaze. We are conveniently located across the street from Park City Mountain Resort.

Our unit is truly family-owned and operated. You really are renting from the owner. Several of the units listed on VRBO are managed by property management companies and their rates reflect it. Our rates are lower because we do not list our condo through a property management company and don’t pay commissions. As thrifty travelers ourselves, we are happy to pass those savings on to you.

Our vacation home is 900 square feet and sleeps six (two queens and twin bunk). We offer a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The queen beds are new, as are the three flat-screen HDTVs in the living room and bedrooms. A combo washer/dryer was added as part of the recent bathroom renovation. Other amenities include a wood burning fireplace, plenty of firewood, and complimentary high-speed wireless internet. You'll have access to our heated pool, hot tub and fire pit. Just down the hall is a fitness center.

NEW FOR THE 2014-15 SKI SEASON: We are very excited about our newest renovation, which includes new hardwood flooring in the living area and new carpet, paint and furniture in the bedrooms. Be among the first to enjoy these improvements!

Snowblaze is only steps from Park City Mountain Resort and historic Main Street. It’s only a three minute walk to the high-speed Payday and Crescent lifts and the ‘greatest snow on earth.’ Just out the door is a Park City Transit shuttle stop, providing free transportation to Deer Valley, The Canyons, Utah Olympic Park, the Outlet Mall, or nearly anywhere you want to go around Park City.

Half a block away you’ll find the historic Miners Hospital, temporary home of the Park City Library, where you can check out a book for the week or visit the Guinea pigs that live there. City Park skate park is next door. In about five minutes you can be in the heart of Main Street’s many shops, art galleries and world-class restaurants. We like to walk because with all the calories you are walking off, you can eat what you want. And the walk home is all downhill!

Nearby you’ll also find grocery, wine/liquor, drug stores and other retail outlets.

There is no check-in to hassle with. You can come directly from the airport to the unit and enter using an access code provided in advance.

We know selecting good accommodations is key to an enjoyable vacation. Our family loves skiing and before purchasing our place we stayed at some good and not so good condo rentals in Park City. You won’t be disappointed staying in Snowblaze 108. We offer one of the best locations in Park City and cozy, clean, roomy accommodations. You’ll feel right at home the moment you walk in the front door.

About Linda

Our family loves the mountains and beach. Since we have neither in Dallas, we purchased Snowblaze 108 after skiing Park City over two spring breaks.

Linda purchased this condo in 2007

Why Linda chose Park City area

Our condo complex is small and quiet and a short walk to Park City Mountain Resort and Main Street.

We love Park City because of the beauty of the Wasatch, the energy of Main Street, its history and old homes, and of course, the ‘Greatest Snow on Earth.’

What makes this condo unique

One of our favorite things about Snowblaze is its distance from the airport. We can be here in 35 minutes from Salt Lake International. That's about the same time it takes to drive from our home in Dallas to DFW Airport!

We like walking home for lunch on ski days and walking to Main Street for dinner or shopping. It's also fun to ski Deer Valley and Canyons or drive over to Snowbird or Alta. After a day on the mountain, the hot tub, fire pit and heated pool are great ways to relax.

In the summer, we love the cool temperatures, hiking every morning, fly fishing, mountain biking, Park Silly, the Farmer's Market and the midweek concert at Deer Valley.

Guestbook comments from the owner

I really loved your condo. I liked the location, the size of the condo, the comfort of the queen size bed I used, and your tasteful decoration. The little dining table and the cloth on it are beautiful, the kitchen is attractive and had all the utensils I’ve needed, and your refrigerator, washer/dryer, and queen beds are all top quality, and I appreciated them.

I’ve been in Park City the last three years and should probably try another resort, but if I do go back next year, I’ll be getting in touch with you about renting Snowblaze 108 again.

Otherwise, I’ll be happy to refer skier friends to you.

Thanks!

Guys loved our stay here

  • 5 of 5

3 dads and our boys stayed here for 4 days of skiing and had a great time. Short walk to ski and short drive into Park City to eat. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace too

Nice and clean. Wonderful location.

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time in Park City. The condo is an easy walk to the lifts at Park City. The walk to Main Street was a bit long on tired ski legs, (twenty minutes), so we took the free bus. Our last night we ate in and tried the fireplace with the logs provided and had lots of smoke and little fire. Not a lot of ventilation or light in the unit but it was clean and well equipped. Loved the new wood floors!

Owner's Response: Elizabeth, So sorry about your fire troubles! We always ask our firewood supplier for seasoned wood but occasionally there are a few green logs in the delivery. It's possible previous guests had used up all the fire starters and fatwood we provide. Always happy to restock these items for our guests' convenience. We are having a great fire tonight! Unit was located conveniently and the owners provide easy checkin. Compared to some

other PC rentals this was pretty good value.

Exactly as pictured & described. Perfect lay out, we had a family of 4 & grandma.

  • 5 of 5

Coincidently located for all Park City activities. Walking distance (easy) to PCM & downtown. The condo fit our family of 4 & Granda perfectly. The condo had all the comforts of home we needed. We where able to cook meals with ease. Loved the washer & dry. We used the pool & spa, spa was great but pool was colder than we would have liked. I would rent here again & would recommend it without hesitation to everyone. We will be back!

Great accommodations; great location!

  • 5 of 5

Four adult family members stayed for 5 nights. The location, about a football field length from the resort base, was very convenient. The slight up-slope of the walk had us "sea level folks" panting a bit, but it was a good warm-up. The slight down-slope at the end of the day was much appreciated.

One member of our party did not ski and took full advantage of the free local bus service to get around town and to the Olympic Museum and Canyons base area.

The condo was comfortable and very well equipped. Some of the guests had some WiFi difficulties (I didn't at all) but they were able to find places with stronger signals.

The information provided by the owners was clear and useful.

The only suggestion I could offer is that it would be nice to have a shelf or cubbies for gloves, helmets, gaiters, etc.

Owner's Response: Great suggestion on the cubbies or shelf for accessories, Mark! My husband says he will build them this summer. So glad you enjoyed your trip. Thank you! -Linda

Great location and very comfortable condo!

  • 4 of 5

Can't beat the perfect location for PRMC, which is literally across the street. The condo was very comfortable, clean and well furnished. The owner/property manager was very responsive and helpful and the hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. The bus stop was also very convenient to the condo, making it very easy to get around. Would stay at Snowblaze again for sure! My only critique would be that the shower did not drain well and the cookware could stand to be replaced. Otherwise everything was great.

Owner's Response: Thanks, Kathy, for your review. We appreciate your feedback and want you to know that had you informed us of the slow draining while you were there, we would have sent a plumber immediately. Your suggestion of new cookware is a good reason to go shopping!
