Labor Day Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We loved it! The photos do not do the cabin justice. The kitchen is perfect to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner, the upstairs bed was sooo comfortable and the cabin was decorated so nicely. Everything was so wonderful and we were so sad to leave. It was so peaceful, the hammock was so relaxing. Sitting on the front porch in the early hours was so nice. We especially enjoyed hearing the river. We will definately be back. The road up was such an adventure and we are so glad we brought the Tahoe! This cabin is so relaxing and so romantic. You feel like there is no one else around. It was so difficult to actually venture out and visit the area because we didn't want to leave the cabin.

Peaceful

  • 4 of 5

We've been there several time. Expect rustic and woodsy . they have a great hot tub on the side of the cabin. Kitchen is compact yet functional. Wild life is a plus , we saw deer and Turkey and could see the Broad river below us. The drive way could be a challenge for a flat- lander. 4 wheel drive or All wheel drive a must as well as no fear of curves. Fire wood for the fire place was an issue but you will enjoy your stay if you wish to get off the beaten path and enjoy life. Weaverville is nearby and had great restraunts and amenities. The Blue Ridge Mountains are also nearby and need to be seen.

Rustic awesomeness!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for and the photos just can't capture how sweet it truly is. The location was a great starting out place for many of our hikes, not far from town and great places to get a bite to eat. I would definitely recommend this to others.

We loved it on our anniversary!

  • 5 of 5

We came for our anniversary and absolutely loved the cabin and hot tub! We enjoyed sitting my the fire at the end of our days as well. The sound of the river was so peaceful. Very secluded and private. Driveway (in our opinion) was not bad at all! It's decorated so nice and cozy and had everything we wanted or needed and more! One thing that could've made the stay a little nicer is if it was dusted or cleaned a little more often. We have allergies and definitely had to buy more meds to help us out while staying there. But it is a cabin so we understand. Thanks so much June and Pete we felt right at home!

Cozy, great setting

  • 5 of 5

Everything about the description is spot-on. It is such a beautiful, rustic cabin that is so darn cute. It has just the right decorations and everything you need for a relaxing, romantic getaway. The road to get there is a little steep and rough, but well worth the trip. And Asheville is just down the road one way, and zip lining is the other direction. Both were a lot of fun.,
