Alright, not the best place we've stayed
The place was alright, the location was the best part. It was in walking distance to the beach, as well as ice cream shops, fractured prune, etc. The back bedroom with the full size bed had a window AC unit at the head of the bed, which was VERY loud when the compressor ran. We were unable to sleep in that room because of it. We also had a hot water problem in half the house.. the kitchen and one bathroom didn't have hot water, but the back shower did. I emailed the owner with no response. The kitchen had enough to get by, no measuring cups but enough supplies to cook. The place was clean and worked fine for a long weekend.
Was a very nice rental
Nice rental only 2 blocks from the beach and other conveniences readily at hand. Would consider renting it again in the future.
Was a good place to stay stayed there with 5 other people everyrhing worked properly cant veat the proce. Defentluey staying here again.
August 2015: Very Worn But We Still Had Fun
I stayed with friends at this condo in August of 2015. I was very disappointed about many aspects of the condo. First, the sofa bed was completely broken. It took almost 20 minutes to get it out. When we did, bed had collapsed in some places and the springs were sticking out. Both the sofa and its bed were dirty and stained. The bedroom (closer to kitchen) door did not fully close, and our outside shower was not working when we arrive. Parts of the house seemed dirty. The beds were somewhat dirty. In the bedroom closest to the back porch, there were brown spots all over the mattress cover. The cookware and appliances were worn with scratches and spots all over, and the blender had mold in it.
Overall, the pictures on this site are no longer accurate for this condo. Although it may have looked like this some years ago, the condo is much more worn and aged than it seems online. I believe that it needs to be renovated.
I will say that the marketing specialist for the realtors, Ms. Akiosi, was very helpful with the issues of the sofa bed and the shower. I was able to contact her very easily and she was exceptionally helpful when we had to buy an air mattress in order to replace the sofa bed. In the end the realtors also returned 10% of the total because of these issues.
I had a lot of cleaning to do
I was very disappointed when I arrived. Air conditioner in master bedroom was broken .back door lock was broken so door could not be opened.there was trash on the back porch . There were flies in the kitchen. When I made the bed I noticed hair ties on the floor. Making me believe there was not a thorough cleaning. I even had to clean the kitchen trash can . It was close to the beach and bus stop so that was a plus. But I would not return here .i paid for a week and was there for 5 days.

I don't leave reviews often, but I totally loved this place! My stay at Our Winds was very tranquil the rooms are all a nice size and the condo was really clean! The owners were very professional and the area was very quiet. We spent a lot time at the beach and it was reassuring to know that when we came back to rest that our surroundings were quiet. I will totally return next year! This place was fantastic!
There are many things to do that are within walking distance! Northside Park has 58 acres, ball fields, jogging and rollerblade paths, soccer fields, indoor gymnasium, picnic tables, fishing lagoon and two piers...and this is the spot for the fireworks on Fourth of July! There are many places to eat from fast food to upscale dining to all-you-can-eat places, and you can walk to the nearby bars, movie theater, video rental store, shopping and so much more. Also keep in mind that the bus runs up and down Coastal Highway 24 hours a day for $2 a day...and it stops steps from this unit. Of course there is much more just a short drive away, including mini-golf, paintball, ice skating (year round!), golf, bowling, go-karts, boardwalk, bike and moped rentals, surfing lessons, outlet shopping in Delaware (30 minute drive, but there are no taxes and there are hundreds of stores!), water sport equipment rentals i.e. boats, jet skis, etc. - we could go on, but you get the point!
