Four houses with pool in a park and vineyard of 7 hectares.

Villa Costafredda, home of great historical value dating from the seventeenth century, was first a convent and later bought by Maffei Faccioli.

The recent complete renovation of the Villa and its outbuildings, have been obtained eight residences, four of which are available to guests.

In the central courtyard of the property, surrounded by walls and closed by gate, there is a large car park, partly covered. Also within the grounds of the property, to a maximum of 30 meters from the residences, is the swimming pool (13 mx 6.5 m), available to guests from mid-April to early October, with deck chairs and garden furniture, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the vineyards and the surrounding hills.

CONDITIONS TO MAKE THE RESERVATION:

Deposit of 30% of the total within 3 days of booking confirmation. Balance due within 30 days of arrival. In the case of bookings made within 30 days of arrival, the balance of the total amount to be paid at time of booking. The deposit will be lost and the booking canceled for failure to pay the balance within 30 days of arrival.

COSTS:

Cleaning: € 25 per person per stay, with a minimum of € 150 for 'The Barn', 'The Barn' and 'The Cottage', and a minimum of € 50 per 'The Guest'.

Natural Gas: € 1.40 per m3; Electricity to € 0.45 Kwh. To be paid locally according to consumption.

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

- Cancellations made before 30 days of arrival: penalty of 30% of the total

- Cancellations less than 30 days of arrival: penalty of 100% of the stay.

And 'comprises entrance hall, large living / dining room (50m2) with TV, full kitchen (oven, stove, 2 sinks, dishwasher, large fridge), 1 double bedroom, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds, 1 bedroom with 1 bed + pull-out bed, 2 bathrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, storage room with washing machine.

The decor is refined and vintage with fine finishes characteristics of an old villa, free Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning.

We usually go to Italy for our Summer holiday as a family and consider that Il Granaio was one of the very best places we have stayed in. A spacious top floor apartment which included a large, extremely comfortable, living area (much bigger than it appears to be in the photograph). We were made to feel extremely welcome by our host, Barbara, who was good enough to wait up for us until 1am on our arrival day (late arrival owing to our flight time). The main building was very grand, with lovely grounds and a large, well-maintained swimming pool overlooking the valley below. The location was probably the best we have ever stayed in, with a huge number of attractive locations to reach within 1 hour's drive (including Venice). Towns within 45 minutes drive included Verona, Vincenza and Mantova. The lovely towns dotting the East coast of lake Garda were also within easy reach (Lazise is our favourite- small, less crowded than others, with a beautiful harbour). Our teenage sons enjoyed para-sailing on Lake Garda, and we all enjoyed swimming in its clear waters. We enjoy cooking as well as visiting the many fantastic restaurants nearby, so were pleased to find the kitchen was well-equipped and modern. Absolutely no criticisms of the accommodation or the customer service. 2 very small suggestion: perhaps have some water in the fridge for late arrivers and some bread? Also, the owners could possibly create a more comfortable outside dining/drinking area for those staying in this apartment. One last word- we were privileged to be able to talk to Barbara and Carlo's mother, an expert in Italian art and delightful company at the pool!

Rare gem

The appartment "il Granaio" corresponds to the top floor of a 18th century mansion. It is very tastefully and comfortably decorated with some period furniture. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, there is nothing missing or broken. The layout was perfect for our group of four adults and three kids. There were games and toys for the children. The owners are helpful and speak excellent English. A great base to discover Verona, Venice and other great places in the area. We would definitely recommend it.

The location of Villa Costafredda allows to reach, through quick and easy road access, several important cities, first of all Verona (20 km) and Venice (100 km). Vicenza (40km), home of the famous sculptor and architect Palladio, Padua (70 km), Mantova (60km). Guests who wish to spend a holiday of relaxation and culture, can also easily reach Lake Garda (Peschiera and Lazise, ​​45 km, the nearest centers). For families with children, the opportunity is tempting to visit the famous Gardaland amusement park (46 km).

The site also presents interesting opportunities for jogging, cycling (both road and mountain bike).

Being in an area famous for its vineyards, the Villa is an ideal starting point for visits to the many wineries nearby.

Equally interesting are the wine tasting tours offered by the local tourist offices.
