About Vacasa of the Northern California Coast
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Perfect for couples.
Amazing location, secluded, great cottage, close to town.
Great property , beautiful view! Very quaint and warm feeling. Was raining during our stay so couldn't use the firepit outside but will be back again!!
Great views, private
Nice views, private- we were left entirely on our own and apart from main house. Cottage was charming, ivy covered and nice antiques inside. Bed had all the appealing charming appointments with nice white sheets and fluffy comforter but actually proved very uncomfortable for us. Sold as a queen, we found it unusually cramped for a queen as two tall folks and the fluffy comforter was too heavy for comfort (feather?). Not having a nite stand on my side also proved irksome as you also needed to make room for your device or book to sleep with. We wish this unit had openable windows facing the ocean - as one of the treats we seek in renting an ocean front cottage over the decades we have been coming to the area is hearing the waves at nite. We opened the forest facing window but the cottage is set back from the cliff somewhat and the wave sounds were very dim.
Lastly, I get that some level of privacy is desirable, but this entire transaction was humanless and automated. No warm greeting, then leave you be on your own, yet be accessible. It left a somewhat cold and unwelcome, don’t want to be bothered sense about the place which also made wandering the property feel like a bit of an intrusion. The new convenient technology does not, alone, make for a charming oceanside stay on a private proprerty.
Overall, a very pretty place but it was not well suited to us and we were happy to come home to our own bed after two pretty unrestful nites.
Ps. I might suggest to the managers they alert you better that the three lamps surrounding the bed are controlled by a remote on the desk. After searching on our bellies, we discovered that key-like remote finally on the desk as we packed to checkout. That left the area pretty dark. I brought a book to read but, fortunately, also brought a headlamp flashlight, (yet another item to sleep with in the high bed).
peace and quiet
We love staying in Le Faux. It is definitely a unique and beautiful spot. It was cozy and delightful! Better equipped that we thought it would be! It was perfect!
Beautiful spot with reservations
Water leak under thrushhold , spider bite my wife on first night, motion lights don’t work properly. The cottage itself was darling. Well secluded, and the view was spectacular, just what we wanted. We would stay again when we could build a fire, grill hot dogs, and dine on the porch, in better weather.
Le Faux is all that it purports to be. so beautiful
