About Angelita Dennis
We are close by if needed. We have great memories in this house and lived here while our house was being built. Now, we are retired and have made our lil House available Our family wants you to have a peaceful visit and enjoy our location.
Angelita Dennis purchased this Cottage in 1972
Why Angelita Dennis chose Rocky Point
This was our family's first house on Rocky Point. We've kept in the family due to access to the Manatee Pocket in Martin County, Florida. From your boat slip it is a short ride to Sandsprit Park, Crossroads of the Indian River and the St. Lucie River and ocean Inlet. Centrally located easy drive to Stuart and West Palm Beach and away from busy traffic. No extra fee to use dock it's in the rate.
What makes this Cottage unique
Downtown Port Salerno has several restaurants on the water and on the main street. Want seafood? Must try P3's Pinch Pull Peel 205 SW Monterey (4.5). and new restaurant on Monterey and Kanner Hwy./Monterey Plaza. Cajun Seafood Boil. Fresh, tender and tasty. I will buy your an appetizer "cheese curds" boil. I also, personally, recommend a call for a pick-up from Basin Seafood. Stuart downtown has much to offer and is a must for shopping and treats.

Cozy cottage getaway
My wife and I loved this little place, quiet, comfortable and cozy we’re the words we used during our week stay. The home has been tastefully renovated, and had everything thing we needed, Angelita was a wonderful host and very responsive. When we arrived she met us at the house and showed us where everything was. We brought out 18’ Flats Boat with us and I was able to back it down the narrow drive with no issue, and there was plenty of room for it next to the house. The place does come with a boat slip located in a well protected cove behind the property, although we didn’t use it this time around.
We will be retuning in the future, Stuart is a wonderful area, with some of the best fishing on the east coast. There’s plenty to do though if fishing isn’t your thing. Fine dining, beaches, shopping, walking, paddle boarding, etc. You will love it!
The property had everything we needed right
down to water in the iron. We loved the privacy
and quiet quaint neighborhood. We would recommend Mr Bread bakery and Neptune’s for seafood. We also ate at Sailors Return in Stuart.
All of these are close and excellent places to eat. We look forward to renting from Angelita in the future. Thanks for a great place to stay!
House is in perfect condition. It was lovely to look out side and see the marina on the oh so peaceful water. Would not hesitate to return to this property again if the opportunity presents itself!
So glad you had a good visit and our place suited you. Thanks for being ideal guests. Glad your Cardinals do their spring training close by.
Come back again!
Private setting; neat and clean; overlooking boat docking area; loaded with amenities.
This is the first time I tried renting a VRBO home. The entire process from making arrangements to completing the reservation and spending time at the site was easy to understand and simple to follow. Follow-up contacts by owner were pleasant and confirmed in our minds that we made the right decision. We had to schedule a very late arrival, and Ms. Dennis made sure we knew what to do to get in. She also has prepared a well-prepared instruction book with room-by-room details about available items and how to use them. Extremely helpful! The brief stay we had here was very pleasant and fun.
Beautiful home and great location
The house was immaculate and has everything you could want. My wife is a clean freak and it was nice to see her relax when we got inside. Angelita met us when we arrived and answered any questions we had. Also gave us some recommendations for the area. We loved sitting outside and fishing the marina. Location is great just minutes to local restaurants, parks, fishing piers and charters. Lots of beaches in the area to choose from. We highly recommend this home.
Great place, loved it
Nice clean recently updated house with everything you need to enjoy your stay.
I'll be back!
Angelita was very nice to work with!
Superb guest. So glad you selected our lil cottage. Can’t wait to have you back another visit.
There is so much to keep you busy:
Hobe Sound Nature Center 9 miles south is trails and critters. Hutchinson Island the Elliott Museum, Florida Oceanographic Coast Center with 57 acres featuring Nature and Wildlife areas. You will like the stingray feeding! House of Refuge Museum is one of a kind left from past Florida history. In Stuart downtown see the Stuart Heritage Museum, the Riverwalk and many shops for one a kind treasures and food goodies (fudge).
Beaches open to all are Bathtub Reef, Stuart Beach, Bob Graham, Ross Withham, Santa Lucea, Jensen Beach, etc. Many choices for charter fishing boat or tours.
Loxahatchee River Center in Jupiter gives you the lush beauty of Florida rivers. They have a new river boat your family will enjoy this jaunt (sunscreen).
Much to see in our area and our house is a good starting point.
We have it fairly quiet here. We are out of the U.S. 1 traffic
