We just wanted to thank you and let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in your Beach Walk home. We liked the fact that Deanna met us at the house rather than in an office and we can't praise Will enough. He was so helpful and readily available when we needed assistance or just some information.

Your home is very comfortable and well stocked and we already have frineds asking us about renting it for themselves and visiting family next winter. We are highly recommending your property to them. The back yard in the Beach Walk is a paradise with beautiful landscaping and pool furniture. We had our children and grandchildren with us over Christmas and staying in your home has left us with some very special memories.

We enjoyed our stay. Loved the private pool and backyard! Location can't be beat. Could walk to beach, dinner and bars. Not a concern for us, but there are lots of stairs.

Can't wait to go back!

My family of 3 loved this beach house so much that we are already planning our next visit. We've stayed in several hotels and condos on SPI, but **nothing** comes close to having a house all to yourself! We split most of our time between the pool/hot tub and the front porch. The house is shaded and cool; we especially appreciated the back yard having a mixture of sun/shade. Plenty of nice pool furniture to sit around and watch the anoles chase each other while listening to the burbling waterfall. The house had everything we needed and then some, including super sharp knives, high-end dishwasher, a kite and pop-up beach shelter, lots of extra blankets and pillows, a box fan, and even a few board games. Everything was good quality, attractive/unique, and very clean. Everyone we dealt with at SPI Rentals was welcoming and responsive. A well-earned 5 stars on this one!

We spent week at property. Proximity to beach was awesome. House was very roomy and well maintained. Nice to have pool and hot tub to come back to when your done at beach. Highly recommend.

Let me start off by saying that it is a beautiful and clean home it has everything you could ask for in the kitchen but that is all I can say that I liked. Let me start with the large red couch it is so very hard and uncomfortable, for 2 seniors comfort is everything and there really is no alternatives to relax in. The number air beds are the same so uncomfortable, we tried for a week to get our number but never did, we never got a good night sleep and how can you when you and your partner is trying to adjust all night and the blower that blows up the bed is so so loud. One more thing about the master bedroom it has the smallest TV in the house and I am talking about a 20 inch. So on to the pool, clean but the bottom of pool and hot tub surface is so ruff I had abrasions on my knees and feet. While sitting in hot tub we had to try and not move around but after a week of using it it destroyed the bottoms of my swim suit, I threw them in the trash. My husband and I have been renting homes from VRBO for the last 10+years and have always enjoyed our stays but this was the first and only time we wanted to leave early. It was not an enjoyable stay but we give it 3 stars because it has what it said it did and it was clean. So end of story is if you want a relaxing stay I do not recommend this house !

Owner's Response: I'm very sorry that you didn't thoroughly enjoy your stay. The couch is the deep kind that you lay back into. It's built for lounging not for sitting upright. 95% of our customers love the sleep number beds and the ability to adjust the firmness. Especially since you can adjust each side separately. They do however take a few minutes to adjust when you first lay down. We opted for a king size bed in the master which did limit the size of the tv we could use. The bottom of the pool & hottub were recently redone and we used an anti slip surface for safety. Thank you Bill

Good....except for the cockroaches

We had high expectations of this property, given the other reviews. The good: the house was nicely laid out, had ample towels, easy depatrture policy that we truly appreciated. Multiple TVs and small pool were appreciated by our party of 9. The bad: certain things that we have come to expect out of rentals weren't stocked. No dishrags, kitchen towels or extra garbage bags. The back of the house is in need of updating (rusty old air conditioner, etc), and was an eyesore for those facing that direction to catch the midday sun. Lack of side tables by the pool was a problem when you had a drink, etc.. We did not see the firepit that was mentioned in the posting. The worst, however, were the cockroaches. Many cockroaches over multiple days in all rooms. While SPI was quite responsive and came to spray immediately, it was pretty gross. We understand it is a warm climate and this happens, but other rentals we have had have stayed on top of the problem. We would not rent this property again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments regarding 118 E. Hibiscus. We apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. We normally provide two kitchen towels and extra garbage bags for our guests. Please note anytime there is a lack of those items, our rental managers office is right around the corner, and they will be glad to deliver any extra items to the property for easy convenience for all our guests. Regarding the firepit, we just replaced the fire pit with a new propane grill. We receive a lot of input from guests and they prefer propane grills vs. the charcoal. It is an easier process and more convenient for our guests. The house is sprayed monthly by a professional pest control company. We have contacted them about performing another extermination. This is always a challenge for properties close to the beach. Thank you for your comments on the possible addition of side tables by the pool area, we will look at outdoor furniture options to improve upon that. We value our guests feedback and are sorry you experienced these issues. I hope we can make your next stay better. Please remember, all returning guests receive 10% off. Thanks Bill

Party Cruise hop aboard a 60 ft double decker Catamaran on a sunset cruise to nowhere. Party with other spring breakers, look for dolphins and catch an unforgettable sunset. The cruise includes a 2-hr boat ride, music and free beverages (beer, punch, soda, and water).
