Welcome to our NYC cliffside apartment with views and a roof deck overlooking the Hudson River and George Washington Bridge!
"Clifford" is a meticulously maintained, CLEAN, one bedroom apartment located in a low rise boutique elevator building. It is safe and quiet. Enter through the foyer that leads to an open kitchen with granite countertops, maple wood cabinets, and stainless appliances. The counter has bar seating for three, inviting you to sit for a drink and dinner. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils and pots/pans if you like to cook. Unlike many NYC apartments, there is a full sized refrigerator and dishwasher
Opposite the kitchen is the living space, with a futon (for the extra guest), chair and ottoman, TV, and your view of the Hudson River through a bank of three windows. Behind the living space is a well proportioned bedroom with a comfy queen bed, nightstands, TV, and a closet. The tiled bathroom is squeaky clean. It has a shower and a four jetted whirlpool bathtub combo , plus a well lighted vanity and a toity (of course).
The apartment is 575 square feet and has polished wood flooring throughout. There is also wifi, cable, and air conditioning in both rooms to evenly cool the whole space.
Located on a serene, treelined street in a neighborhood known as "Hudson Heights", this REAL manhattan neighborhood is safe, non-toursity and rich in architecture. This spot in New York City is located on a plateau on top of a high bluff overlooking the Hudson River to the west and the Broadway Valley to the east and includes the highest natural point in all of Manhattan, exceeded only the the Statue of Liberty torch!
Getting around all of the major sights of NYC is fast, easy and cheap! The express "A" train and the #1,2,3 subways are within a few minutes walk (5 blocks) and will bring you to the heart of Manhattan in 30 minutes. If your tour of New York includes a visit to the Bronx Zoo, Botanical Garden, Fort Tryon Park and the Clositers, NYC's Little Italy at Arthur Avenue or if you are here to take in a Yankee game, this apartment could not be in a better location. Being at the tip of Manhattan will also allow you a quick driving escape via the Hudson Parkway or GW Bridge, so if you're heading upstate through the Hudson Valley or any points west (NJ or PA), then this apartment location will also be at a convenient jump off point.
