Great location in Frisco.
Frisco is a wonderful old Colorado town. It has an amazing museum of the Ggold Rush days. Many original cabins filled with memorable items and stories. <br />
The cabin was small. But fine. The bathroom is truly a one person bathroom. The bed was comfortable, but why was it on such a high platform. The mattress started at about my waist. It really was a challenge to get in and out of. The kitchen had a good stove, toaster oven and plenty of pots and pans, plates and flat ware and cook ware. The divan was comfortable. The television was a good quality, but stations were limited. The Summit County trail ran right behind the cabin. It is a wonderful hiking, biking trail system. Parking was easy and right in front. . The management person, Jason, was superb. Very helpful.
Quick and easy getaway
This was a nice and simple place to get out of the Denver heat for a day. Always nice to find a place that allows dogs! No fenced in area though for folks who wish for a pet to roam. Easy waking access to the town of Frisco. Thanks for allowing us a nice little last minute stay-ca!
Great spot near the trail
Good location. Close enough to walk to main street. Bee problem, hive under the front wall needs to be dealt with. Could use a king bed. 2nd stay, would stay again.
We apologize for the issue with the bees. We did locate their hive and spray it. We have also set out traps to hopefully prevent any further hive building around the home. If necessary, we will call professional pest control to eradicate the issue. Thank you!
Cabin was cute for 2 nights we stayed there. We wanted to relax on the porch and listen to birds and nature. Instead all we heard was a huge generator powering a construction crew hammering and making all sorts of noise. Noise started after 7am and went on until 6pm. We found a used bar of soap in the shower which made me question the cleanliness of the rest of cabin. We had a half roll of toilet paper when we arrived with no additional rolls to be found as mentioned online. We also found a glass half full with water in the cupboard. The pillows smelled dirty. Made our anniversary get away a not so good one. It is choose close to Main St. Which has small shops, restaurants and bars. The worst part was all the noise. Husband became ill and didn't sleep through the night. Was not good to be awoken so early with hammering and loud generator after being sick all night and not sleeping. If I'd been notified of this construction. I would have booked elsewhere. Super disappointed.
Nice, homey cabin.
My daughter, dog and I stayed for a fun vacation. Great little base to to go hiking, horseback riding and whitewater rafting. House is quiet and homey. Everything was excellent.
Tiny but everything we needed. Frisco was great, view nice, bike trail behind it.
