Nice place, quiet neighborhood
Paul met us upon our arrival and gave us a tour with little secrets about the island. He was very nice. Place was clean and we would return again.
First Time In Aruba!
Myself and 3 of my friends stayed at Paul’s home for a week and a half. The location of this house is incredible since you’re a short drive from stores and restaurants. We had some small hiccups while staying and Paul was quick to respond with solutions. He tried his best to fix everything, which we appreciated. My only con about the house is that is does need some maintenance work on the inside, and a nice deep clean. But other than that it’s a good place to stay for a longer vacation.
The perfect stay
Great vacation rental, so close to Aruba's best beaches.
The house is a very comfortable two stories with two bedrooms on the 2nd floor.
Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.
Everything is very clean.
No mold, no bad smell.
I'm precising this point following the one and only negative review to this property that unsettled us.
In fact we almost didn't book for this review.
Glad we didn't follow this bad advice.
This property is not the one described in this review,,, or the reviewer, for whatever reason, lied.
Same for the 1st floor binds: as replied by the owner, they are brand new and very occulting.
I have been to many VR in many countries and I do understand that those very successful may come with some maintenance issues, sometimes.
Anyway, this place is your place if you're looking for a safe, clean, comfortable and remarkably located rental.
BTW, Paul and JoAnn are very accommodating hosts. They welcomed us to the house and gave us lots of insights on where to go, where to eat, where not to.

Thanks for clarifying things about this scam review. As we told you we had been the object of a blackmail by this person. Of course we refused to give her a free stay for no valid reasons. Thus the very negative, very stroll like review.
Great place to stay
This is a great place to stay on Aruba. Condo is in perfect shape and everything you need is available- including extras like lots of pool towels and beach chairs. Owner was very helpful. Location is perfect and gated community with pool and clubhouse makes a family feel very secure.
Nice community complex, apartment needs maintenance, fix mold, bathroom leak and broken blinds
Nice gated community, we rented a car as beaches and main area are too far to walk from the condo.
We are disappointed about a few things. I communicate those issues to the owner Paul and Joann. However, they did not do anything to fix those issues and to make our stay better. If I had known of the issues I wouldn't have taken a condo with mold and poor maintenance.
We checked in at 4 pm. The owner Paul said that their is a leakage in the first floor bathroom. Half of the ceiling was open, a big area had black mold and the bathroom smelled of mold. I was worried we will get sick because of mold. However I would lose the amount we prepaid for our stay. As we put our things away we noticed all furnitures had scratches all over, stains, the dovet covers and the pillows cases smelled, haven't been changed to clean ones for a while. All 3 TVs didn't work the whole stay. Wifi On/off. owner provided a super food bonus card for local store, however we found out that anyone can go and buy without the card and basically when we use the owner's card, they collects the points and get money back. owner collected the tourist taxes asked to pay only in USD and in cash.
I communicate all of the above to the owner, as we had a deposit taken on top of the prepaid of our stay.
My son slept in the living room sofa bed.
He used the bathroom with the mold. He was coughing the whole night , didn't sleep well. Next day he had shortness of breathing, coughing and itchy skin. Also, The blinds in the living room are totally broken and missing parts, so he couldn't sleep with all the light in the room.
I texted the above issues to Paul, if he can fix those issues while we are there, he said no he can't. see his reply. We took pictures that I will gladly upload if we have the option to do so.

We stayed out of the apartment the most of our stay and didn't used the bathroom in the first floor.
When we checked out early 7:30 am, I sent a message to Paul and Joann asked if they can do something about our negative experiance. The owners never replied.
We travel extensively and we will be back to Aruba. For sure we will not stay again at Paul's and Joann's apartment.
These comments are unfounded.
There is no mold in the apartment. A little dark spot, not mold, in one of the bathrooms has been cleaned, then repainted.
As for the blinds in the salon (not in one bedroom), as indicated to this person, they were in the process of being changed which as been done as of March 23, 2019
