This Home is perfect for housing large groups for the ultimate Lake Vacation. The water is just outside the back door. There is a dock for fishing and swimming.

Offering 6 bedroom with multiple beds in most rooms allowing for plenty of sleeping space. Three Full Bathrooms on 2 levels.

This home will sleep up to 17 people in beds, 23 using the futon and sofa sleepers!

The main level has a large, very open living area with huge Kitchen with lots of storage, Living Room, Dining Area, and 3 of the 6 bedrooms, including:

Master bedroom - Queen size bed (and a Twin) with Private Bath including jetted tub and walk-in shower.

Bedroom 2 - Queen and a Twin Daybed

Bedroom 3 - two twin beds.

The Lower level of this home, has :

Property Needs an Upgrade

Both fireplaces did not work and the central heating did not heat the lower level. After our 1st night there the management company had to bring us 3 floor heater to stay warm. The walls were dirty and the paint was old. The extra pillows had yellow stains all over them and there were no pillow cases. The kitchen was another story...the 1st morning we used the oven it broke. They sent over a handyman who smelled like alcohol. The dishwasher worked but the cords came out under it and were covered in duck tape which seems like a huge safety issue. The kitchen was large and very spacious but the fully stocked kitchen barely had 10 large plates, no baking dishes, and was very disorganized. There was a stong sulfer smell in the water so taking showers and brushing teeth made some of our guest gag and was very gross. The game room was the best part but there was no cable or satellite as advertised. All the furniture was outdated and cushions on couches slide all over due to lots of use over the years. The location and size of house was great but all the negatives definitely outweigh the positive.

Owner's Response: These guests were absolutely correct about the propane fireplaces and with all of the issue they were seeming to have, we gave these renters a refund that equated to 1/3 of their stay, AND, did not charge them for the 4 dogs we found they brought with them without letting us know. The HVAC vents had not been reversed for winter, entirely our error, (they were on a "summer" setting which directs cold air upstairs, but prevents warm air from reaching the basement during the winter). We arrived within an hour of their notifying us, corrected that issue and left infrared space heaters just to jump start the warming up process downstairs. The issue with the oven door was absolutely correct (the door itself actually came off.....which was completely unforeseeable, our housekeepers had cleaned inside the oven after the last visit, which normally, if the door was having issues, would have immediately been repaired.). It was repaired so they could use it during their stay and since then the owners have replaced with a new stove/oven. There were enough plates, cups, glasses, and silver ware, etc. to service 23 guests when we checked after these guest had left. The owner has since then, added additional baking dishes, pots and pans to fully accommodate the larger groups of guests. We are labeling the cabinets inside, to address where things should be returned to, just to help "organize" this very large kitchen, ( it seems everyone has a different perspective on how things should be organized and therefore things get moved around.) Our guest book/manual does let everyone know that this home is on a well and IF a smell of sulfur appears, to contact us as that can be very quickly remedied. Sulfur very commonly appears in the water table in our area, but this home does have a very good water treatment system on it that normally removes the sulfur smell...when it doesn't, it is just a matter of our maintenance adding additional salts to the system to remedy this. Unfortunately, they did not let us know about this until we read this review. We advertise "Internet TV/Roku-Netflix with local channels" and Internet WiFi...not cable (which isn't available in our area) and not satellite reception. We try our best to make certain our guests have a great time while they are here on vacation, and truly appreciate the feed back and opportunity to do everything we can to make it right when things do go wrong and correct those things to make it better for our future guests.

Not adequate for winter stay , more set up for summer use.

Zoned Heating is not efficient for cold weather, downstairs had no heat. Both gas log fireplaces were inoperative.

Stove/ oven under cooked food and one burner not functional. Pots and pans were rusted and nasty.

Description of property should have mentioned a heavy sulfur smell in the water which was very offensive.

Extra bedding in closets was dirty.

Have stayed in several vacation rentals around the states and this one only rates 2 stars in my opion.
