A slice of heaven
Where to begin when describing perfection? Beautiful, high end home in magical surroundings. Everything you need at your fingertips, fully stocked and a welcome basket that fed us fruit picked from their garden for 3 days! Ocean on 3 sides of the home and 2 blocks away. We truly felt as though this was our "forever home". Property owners were so very gracious and incredibly helpful.
OMG, what a wonderful review! Thank you so much! We loved meeting you and do hope to see you again on your next trip to Hawaii island.
great location and a beautiful home
We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, modern, and well appointed. We went snorkeling every day, and loved that it was a mini walk to the water. The gardens were beautiful. Our family enjoyed the tour of the owners organic farm. Elizabeth and Steve are warm, kind, and generous. We look forward to coming back!
A wonderful week in Hawaii
We were very pleased with our stay at Manini House. The house and kitchen is incredibly well equipped. Everything we could have asked for was there, including a welcome basket of fresh fruit and coffee grown and roasted by the owner!
The first night we woke up to the sound of crashing waves, but we soon got used to that. Access to the water is a few steps away, as is a kayak rental for a trip across K bay to the Cook monument and incredible snorkeling.
Highly recomended. We hope to go back soon...
Aloha Richard and family! I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay at Manini Point House and it was wonderful for Steve and Shannon and Serena to meet you during the farm tour. I hope to meet you on your return visit. Glad that it worked out so well for your family to enjoy the Keoua Canoe Club's 37th Annual Macathon! It is always held the Saturday before Easter, so maybe next year? :)
Thank you so much, once again for your stay at Manini Point House and for this lovely review. Your family members were wonderful guests.

Wonderful place by Kealakekua Bay!
My husband and friends really enjoyed our time at Manini Point House. We arrived needing some deep relaxation but also some fun adventure - and we found both at the house and in the bay just steps away. Each morning, we were awake for the sunrise coming over the mountain, lighting up the bay. Often, we were in the water, swimming by 7:30am. -- sometimes with dolphins! Days were spent out exploring the bay by SUP, snorkeling at Manini and 2-Step nearby (turtles and so many tropical fish), taking leisurely walks through the neighborhood, or (only rarely) getting in our car to visit town or another area of the island. Evenings we visited with our friends at the house, watching gorgeous sunsets over the water, preparing delicious, fresh meals in a large, very well-appointed kitchen, and enjoying a leisurely meal together on the lanai.
Situated in a little neighborhood that's home to both residents and visitors, the house offers a comfortable home base. The house and back yard are clean and well care for. Rooms are spacious with bright light, beautiful art, hardwoods and marble throughout. The owners, Steve and Elizabeth, who live on a farm nearby, are highly responsive and very kind.
Beautiful home, around the corner from snorkeling
The home was gorgeous with lovely furniture, well appointed kitchen, and large lanai. It was perfect for a 3 couple family gathering. Elizabeth was terrific. All in all, a marvelous stay.
We loved this house. It was situated just two minutes from a beach where we went swimming and snorkeling almost everyday. The house itself, was attractively furnished and fully equipped with everything we needed. The top bedroom had bay and ocean view from three sides and a balconey as well. There was a deck all around and a wonderful lanai where we ate our meals. The yard has beautiful blooming flowers 🌺. This is truly a wonderful place to spend a vacation! Thank you, Elizabeth and Steve!
And thank you, Ingrid, and lovely family! It was a pleasure to meet you all and so nice for you to enjoy your reunion with family from Australia as well! Hope to see you back at Manini Point House at Kealakekua Bay.
There is plenty to do on the Hawaii Island! You will love learning about Hawaiian culture by visiting Puuhonua O Honaunau, one of the many historical sites with hiking trails and a gorgeous picnic area, as well as hiking to Captain Cook monument. What can be more enjoyable than swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving, or horseback riding in Waimea or golfing in Kailua Kona, charter fishing, shopping for local crafts and Organic produce at Farmers' Markets? Visit Volcano National Park, see the waterfalls on the windward side, hike to Green and Black Sands Beaches at South Point. Visit Mauna Kea observatory. Zipline in Hawi or Hilo! Take a walk on the wild side with a helicopter view of the Volcano flows, waterfalls, snow on Mauna Kea, undeveloped landscape--the Big Island's gorgeous scenery! Or relax at Manini Point House, sip a cup of Organic Kona coffee and walk to the bay for a swim with the dolphins! You will know that you are in Paradise!
