Great Place!

Very comfortable place. Very helpful, polite owners. Very hard to get a car, and internet service is not very good. Hard to even make a call.

A quiet nook to come home to each day

As a family of four with 2 teenagers we initially needed a place to recover from jet lag upon arrival. Sylvie had everything set up for us and gave us info about easy shopping close by so we could get our supplies. She even came to rescue for me after I fried my flatiron by naively using it with converter. I asked her where to buy a new one and she gave directions for that and a couple of types of irons appeared on our front door to borrow. As a person who does NOT have wash n go hair this was an wonderful gesture and so appreciated. Sylvie had written down some recommendations for places to visit so after Vaux le Vicomte and Paris we started going to her places. Meaux for the new modern Musee de la Grand Guerre. It was amazing... we arrived just as the school groups were leaving and enjoyed the museum almost to ourselves... a wonderful change from the Lourve day before. Museum had great artifacts and just enough in english so we felt we got a lot of info (unlike the Lourve which seems to only have English translation on the major works). Medieval town,Provin and we also visited the Camargue when we went on to Provence. All great choices for us, so thank you Sylvie.

Charming and cozy!

My sister and I were perfectly comfortable in Sylvie's lovely house. Everything was neat and tidy, and Sylvie has thought of many details to make a traveler feel at home. She showed us around when we arrived and was easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this charming gite!
