You’ll experience the amazing 270 º view of the ocean, beach, and golf course from our sixty feet of unobstructed windows in the living area and fabulous ocean views from every bedroom.

We know that a discerning customer will appreciate and enjoy the rich details of this spacious 2,353 square foot paradise. Decorated in a classically British West Indies style, the beautiful hardwood floors, cherry wood moldings and cabinets, tiled foyer, halls, kitchen and laundry room and nine foot ceilings are a feast for the eyes. When you open all four double sliding doors in the living area, you will hear the tranquil cadence of the ocean waves and seagulls. The view is absolutely breathtaking. No other villa can claim a view like this one.

Whether you are enjoying your lunch or sipping wine on the forty foot balcony overlooking the ocean waves, you’ll feel like you are sitting on the beach itself. The Ocean Club Villas have a huge swimming pool, three hot tubs, a grill area and super deck for sunbathing. Our home amenities include among other things a variety of ‘start up’ supplies like shampoo, dish soap etc, beach chairs, bikes, a well equipped kitchen. You’ll be surrounded not only by nature at its finest but inside we have signed numbered prints on display from the famous Charleston artist, Jim Maravel.

When our villa was part of the Wild Dunes Rental Program, it was rated VIP status. They represent about 400 properties at Wild Dunes of which four percent (4%) have achieved VIP status. Our villa is booked a year in advance by many previous renters, who feel it is the best in Wild Dunes.

You would expect us to sing our praises so please be sure to read the comments of past guests who tend to be a little more impartial than we are. Our calendar and rates are up to date. Please scroll down to consult them. We would especially appreciate you checking the calendar for availability before your inquiry. We have additional information to email you and/or if you have particular questions. Please don’t be shy about asking. We want to make sure we will meet your needs. Weeks only in the summer (Saturdays to Saturday). Weeks from Sept to May need to be Sunday to Sunday. Thanksgiving/Xmas/New Years has a Holiday Surcharge of $200, and you can only rent by the week. There is a charge of $175 for housekeeping/towels/ bed making. You can cancel at any time. We must be able to re-rent the period of time we have blocked for you to get a refund. There is a $75 cancellation fee. An Advance Payment is required when you send in your Contract. It varies from $500 to $1500 depending on the time of year you are renting, number of days you renting and how far in advance. There are no discounts for reservations made far in advance or last minute ones.* ANYONE THAT RENTS AT LEAST TWO WEEKS DURING THIS PERIOD PAYS ONLY $1595 A WEEK.

About Peter Cole

My name is Peter Cole, and I am the owner’s representative. I went to the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Presently live in Davidson, just outside of Charlotte, NC. I wear many hats: an oceanfront, resort, rental condo owner; property manager; rental agent; dog tender (That is Mazie in the picture. Spends most of her day on the rug by me at my desk.) and my favorite; loving husband to the beautiful woman in the picture with me. As a Medicare card carrying senior, I look back over a full life. My chosen life ‘occupation’ (my Mother could never bring herself to call it a job) was to take teens on a cross country camping trip; 3000 teens in all, spanning 33 years. My nephew, Doug Gill, slipped into my shoes as I stepped into my retirement. Now he has passed it on to Sassy Smyth. Curious? Do a google search, 'tctw'.

My friends and relatives worried about my having too much time on my hands in retirement so they gave me their resort properties to manage. My reputation as a good manager/agent grew. Now 12 properties fill my stable. It was 1967 when I took ownership of my first rental property. In the years since, I have bought and sold 11. I come to you with a lot of experience. Great beachfront condo

I have been coming to the Isle of Palms for the past few years and this condo has one of the best views! The beach is pretty much right under the living room balcony and the beach was huge compared to previous years, even at low tide. I like that you get the option of using the pool if you don't feel like going to the beach and vice versa. The condo itself is very spacious and has 3.5 bathrooms which is awesome, especially when you are there for a girls weekend. We had breakfast and lunch on the balcony overlooking the ocean almost every day and it was so beautiful. The condo was very clean and I would definitely recommend it. Can't beat the views.

Beachfront

My family and I have been going to wild dunes for many years.

We wanted a place on the beach and were lucky to find this one!

This condo is spacious and clean and has the most amazing view of the ocean from every bedroom and living area.

Hearing the waves and being so close to the water brings us back every year.

All the comforts of home are here.!!!

Looking forward to returning in October.

Beautiful condo overlooking the beach

I just recently stayed at this condo for a week with friends. The weather was perfect for a morning walk or bike ride, for sitting on the beach, picking up shells , going to the pool or sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The condo is tastefully decorated with three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The layout is terrific for taking advantage of the ocean view. It is almost like being on a cruise ship! There is no doubt that this is the perfect condo for anyone that's wants to relax and enjoy being by the ocean! I would highly recommend this unit.

I have been vacationing in Wild Dunes over the past 10 years. Condo is wonderful with an ocean view from EVERY room. I look forward to sitting on the private deck off the bedroom with my morning coffee and being mesmerized by the ocean or sitting on one the front deck for lunchtime break. The view is spectacular and there are miles of beach to ride bikes or take long walks. The surrounding area has sidewalks and is impeccably manicured. This beachfront condo has a great open layout and is beautifully decorated. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. It is always hard to leave such a beautiful place. I can't wait to go again!

"A dream come true "visit to the ocean!

This property is an fabulous experience with an awesome ocean view from each bedroom. The sunrise and sunsets are truly panaromic and you could not get any closer to the water at high tide unless you were in the ocean. Even the views are breathtaking as you cook and eat dinner. The property is well maintained and the kitchen is equipped for any cooking event large or small. I cannot get enough of this condo and truly enjoy my yearly visits there. I have stayed in other condos but this property is reasonable for all that it offers! The library bedroom offers a wide variety of reading material as well as some lovely hand thrown pottery made by one of the owners! Once you stay in this condo, leaving it is truly difficult!

Best ocean view, and wonderful condo in Wild Dunes!

If the number of beds works for you, and you can afford it -RENT THIS CONDO!

You can not get any closer to the beach - at high tide you could dive off the balcony

( please don't!) and hit water, at low tide- the beach is very wide. There will always have to be some sort of beach renourishment going on because this building is so close to the water, but it does not effect the views or walking the beach in anyway.

Right now, there are a couple tinker toy looking things below the balcony, -a non-issue.

The views from the long balcony are ridiculous- sunset to the right, and then wide beach, dunes, ocean to the left. Each bedroom is completely separate and quiet, and having the hall half bath was a great addition too. We didn't need the bunk bed that is in the master closet that is within the bathroom, we used it as a dresser for our clothes - but would be handy if there were kids. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, etc. Standing in the kitchen, you look over the counter, dining table, out to the ocean. I took books to read and planned on getting a few projects done - didn't happen, I was mesmerized by the ocean views and sounds ( ah- to go to sleep listening too...) and didn't even hang out on the beach as much as I expected, because the balcony was so close to the ocean and level of waves - why get sandy, and have to be so far from the frig? The Links course is right out the gate of the condo, and practice range is there too. The Harris Teeter grocery is right at the IOP connector, I suggest hitting this grocery as you come in for bare necessities ( wine and beer there too, liquor store in same shopping center). There are enough paper products and detergent in condo to get you started, so just think what do I need to eat and drink for a day or two. There is a store at the Marina that has food, etc. stuff you would expect for boaters, so that's handy too, and a couple places to eat.

Restaurants - geez - so many - if want to stay within about 5 miles - Poes Tavern, SOL, Wasabi, Mellow Mushroom - more casual, family friendly. Upscale - head to Charleston! It's about a five minute walk to rent bikes, play tennis, small playground, little shopping and food - right on the main drag at the Pavillion - you'll pass as you drive to this condo. This condo will spoil you - any other just won't compare.

Additional information about rental rates

When you make a reservation through VRBO/HomeAway there is a 5 to 9 per cent service fee charged. We handle our own reservations, emailing out Contracts and collecting rent. Because you are dealing directly with the owner you do NOT have to pay the service fee. In addition to the Rental Rate listed above there is an Accommodation Sales Tax (County, City, and State) of 14%. We do NOT use the 'Book It Now' feature offered by VRBO/HomeAway because once again we do not want you to have to pay the fee associated with it. Weeks at Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years have a $200 surcharge. We rent by the week only, Saturday to Saturday from June through August. The rest of the year it is Sunday to Sunday. The housekeeping fee is $175. When mailing in your Contract we request a 50% Advance Payment of the rent. Balance due 30 days before your visit. We prefer personal checks, but you may pay with a credit card through our PayPal account (5% service fee).
