After much tragedy in the area we were pleased with this little get-a-way! Very nice cabin and easy to find! We will definitely be back!
Comfortable cabin with gorgeous views and an easy drive into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We spent a lot of time in Wears Valley away from the hubub of the tourist centers. Grandma's Kitchen was a favorite for breakfast.
Loved the cabin. Everything needed for our week long stay and not far from Pigeon Forge!
This was the perfect cabin for our family vacation. We were a group of 6. My wife and I, our 2 grown sons and my wife's parents. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The cabin is beautifully decorated and is exactly what we wanted. Everything we needed was provided. The cabin is located on a paved road so access in and out was easy. It was a short trip to Pigeon Forge for groceries, restaurants and every attraction imaginable. If your looking for a peaceful cabin with absolutely no noise from neighbors or traffic, this is it. Thank you for a fantastic stay!!!!
Alpine View was beautiful, secluded yet very close to everywhere we wanted to go, and well-appointed....had everything we needed to enjoy our week in the Smokies!
Travel with young children isn't always easy....we spent a lot of time looking for a cabin that we could enjoy and the kids would be safe. We wanted a place with a fairly level driveway so we didn't have to worry about someone getting out of the car and immediately being on the edge of the mountain. The property was perfect for us! We loved rocking in the front porch swing, taking board games on the amazing back deck and playing with the children while enjoying coffee and homemade pumpkin bread. The cabin is close to the city stuff if you are coming to do things in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge...we typically just hit a few things in town- the Incredible Christmas Place, The Old Mill, and Mama's Farmhouse. The rest of our time is spent in the National Park. The location is so perfect for being able to head to Cades Cove, towards Elkmont area, Newfound Gap, or Greenbriar. The hot tub was the perfect finish to a day of hiking! Comfortable beds, plenty of seating (the high back chairs push together perfectly as a baby gate for the stairs), and though it was too hot for a fire while we were there, the wood burning fireplace was one of the reasons we choose this wonderful cabin!
I would definitely suggest this cabin to anyone! Perfect for small families or big ones! Couples only or groups with kids.....it is wonderful! It is SO nice to be able to arrive and not have to go somewhere to pick up a key....they make the rental process super easy! We hope to visit here again!!!
The Pence family
The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. (three teenagers) The beds are comfortable. The house is very clean and had everything we needed. The setting is beautiful. We were in the area to visit Great Smokey Mountain National Park and found the location just what we were looking for. It is away from all of the man-made attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but close enough to drive to those areas if you wanted to. We would stay in this house again and would recommend it to friends.
