About Wine Country Lodges Reservations

Wine Country Lodges history in Sonoma County started with its founder, Lisa Neisingh. Lisa was raised in Sonoma County, where she enjoyed vacations with her family at their riverfront cabin on Healdsburg’s Fitch Mountain and where she learned to swim with her cousins in Healdsburg's Russian River. Wanting to continue to share similar getaway experiences with additional families and friends, she started converting the family river homes into riverfront vacation getaways. In keeping with Lisa's spirit, we continue to provide relaxing, back-to-nature environments for our guests, by choosing up-scale, rustic, and charming antique style furnishings to make guests feel welcomed and relaxed. Expanding on our desire to share our beautiful region of Sonoma with guests from near and far, we began to exclusively provide vacation property management for up-scale properties throughout Wine Country. Each of our properties provide the perfect atmosphere for those wanting to create special vacation memories while bonding with family and friends in a relaxingly, peaceful and unspoiled riverfront or vineyard setting. Wine Country Lodges continues in the tradition of welcoming guests and is now owned and managed by Lisa’s children Jared B Pickrell and Jill Jensen. Our family enjoys filling these wonderful vacation homes with comfortable furnishings, relaxing amenities, and providing an array of adventurous and leisurely activities for our guests to enjoy.

We Look Forward to Welcoming You to Healdsburg’s World Renown Wine Country.

Descent, nothing stood out as "wonderful"

  • 3 of 5

Beds were very comfortable, unfortunately we found spiders (yes live spiders) in the sheets in the bed on the main level. The house had an "old" smell. Everything was in working order, the stove was not the easiest to operate. Also the dishes seemed a bit grungy (stuck on food on the clean dishes). The house very a bit challenging to find. The neighborhood was nice and quiet!

Once you've paid DON'T expect any service or communication

  • 1 of 5

I blame this one star completely on the management company's non existent communication. Upon arrival I noticed the sauna was not functioning, I called the property manager and was told that the prior group had broken the sauna, and that she didn't expect it to be fixed during our stay.

I considered the sauna a very unique and appealing amenity. Following the trip I reached out to management to express my disappointment, and received no response. I have now sent three messages all with out a response. Had the received a response I would have rated the house differently. The obvious complete indifference to their guests once they've received money is really terrible.

Personally, the sauna looked like it had been out of commission for a long time. I would have also expected the company to get in front of any issues with the house as well. Communication is just completely non-existent.

Gorgeous house, great location

  • 5 of 5

This place is perfect for a large group.....very spacious living room, dining room, and deck. It's located right on the river and, although it's in an older neighborhood, the house seems quite new -- modern appliances, well maintained, very clean. The seven of us enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the river and, on cooler nights, gathering by the fireplace. It's got a wonderful hot tub, too.....and all just ten minutes from downtown Healdsburg. Really, I'll come back. It's great for a week in wine country.
