This luxurious and spacious modern barn conversion offers style and comfort inside and out. Trevena Cross Barn has a huge kitchen and dining area, and a comfortable lounge with wide screen tv and dvd. Upstairs there are two generous bedrooms, one with luxury ensuite, and family bathroom. The is also a children's bunk room that sleeps four.

Outside the landscaped gardens offer seating for eight, bbq facilities and generous lawns for relaxing adults and playing children.

About Kelvin Collins

The family own and run the well known Trevena Cross Nurseries at the end of the lane where you'll find excellent homemade cakes and scones amongst other more plant-like delights. We converted the barn in 2010 to provide an ecologically sound and wonderfully comfortable holiday home which we love sharing with our valued guests.

Why Kelvin Collins chose Cornwall

The dilapidated barn has always been part of the nursery but it took some time to have plans approved and then free up the time to do the work. The long delay was worth every minute as we're delighted and proud with what we've created.

Home from home

We had a wonderful weeks stay here. The house was spotless, warm and very comfortable. We like to cook and found it very well equipped. We all felt comfortable from the moment we first stepped in to the house. Rachel brought us some scones, jam and cream which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated after our long drive. I am normally very fussy about where I stay and so finding a holiday home is normally a big deal for us! Not any more. I would be more than happy to return here or even try out one of the other houses. Trevena Cross Barn is in a great location, lovely house and very helpful owner/company to deal with. Thank you!

Lovely, Quiet and Comfortable!

Our party of five loved staying at the Trevana Cross Barn. Close to so many things to see and do in Cornwall, but slightly out of the way so it was very peaceful and quiet. Lovely garden, comfortable beds and living room. Would definitely recommend!

Beautifully peaceful holiday barn

We had a fabulous stay at Trevena Barn. The garden was lovely, enjoyed by all our teenagers for badminton, adults for reading and drinking wine and greatly enjoyed by our dog. The Barn had everything we needed. Rachel the owner was lovely, as was her dog Max. The local beaches and coves are brilliant for surfing, swimming and rock pooling. Porthleven is a few minutes away and great for eating out and coffee. A perfect place to stay for any age group.

Spacious, comfortable accommodation

We spent a week at the Barn in late May/early June 2015. The location served as a good base for exploring the area and easy access to the harbour (and restaurants - particularly The Square, where we ate several times) of Porthleven and the beautiful beaches nearby, especially Praa Sands.

The village of Breage is a very short walk away. It was a shame that the village pub was closed during our stay but we understand it is being refurbished to open again soon.

The Barn itself had ample room for our party of five (two grandparents, two parents and a one year old). The master bedroom with en suite is enormous but the other double bedroom is also a good size. The owner, Rachel, kindly provided a travel cot, but the children's bedroom also had bunk beds for four so could easily accommodate a larger family.

The kitchen has a large dining table for meals and is well equipped and the living room is a nice place for playtime / crashing out in front of a DVD.

Weather during our stay was a bit mixed so we did not use the garden a huge amount but it would be a lovely spot for a barbecue and there is plenty of room for little people to run around.

The booking process was entirely hassle-free too,.

All in all, we were very happy with the Barn and would certainly recommend it.

Christmas 2014

There is nothing better than a festive getaway where it still feels like home. A wreath on the door, a Christmas tree in the living room and a real Cornish cream tea on arrival - we were home for Christmas!

Being originally from the county ourselves and knowing the area well, it was a delight to discover this converted barn, hidden down a country road, yet in easy access to the main Helston road.

A spacious, yet cosy property, we felt comfortable there and the children enjoyed the large garden to play in.

We would definitely recommend for a stay, whether family, friends, or a indulgent weekend away for two.
