Some issues...

  • 3 of 5

Two mature couples rented 5a for 6 nights mid-October. Although condo looks nice & location excellent, we did have a few issues that dampened our stay a little.

-1 defective smoking blowdryer that immediately died for 2 bathrooms. Numerous calls to Jose ignored. How hard can this be to replace?

-hot tub was filthy on arrival. Hot tub cleaning promised for 3rd day as well as condo. No one came, no follow-up. Checked 4th day after condo cleaned, still visible slimy scum around hot tub edges. So that part of condo sadly never used. Patio with table was used.

-no dryer available as per Jose. Also no washing machine instructions provided. Book had instructions for everything else.

-kitchen needs better stocking. Most dishes & stuff for 6-8 settings but only 3 wine glasses & 2 champagne. Jose quickly brought us another wine glass just after check-in.

-green chair in living room has many water stains. Really should be cleaned properly or replaced!

-large lamp in living room & hallway have no plug nearby so not usable, just for staging.

-bedrooms are very tight. We had to move our bed to the wall to fully open the door. Suitcases kept under glass table in hallway.

-downstairs entryway always smelled of pet urine. Unpleasant!

-we found the door locking system weird & perhaps a hazard in emergency. For 5a, one enters a non-lockable door with the door to the condo on right & door to terrace on left. Key always kept in condo door while in as no doorknob to open door. Then if using the hot tub one would need to lock the condo door to go to upstairs terrace as anyone could enter initial door. Someone actually did just that when Jose was introducing the place.

That said, we did enjoy our stay in Malaga .. Granier bakery a few doors away became a daily ritual & La Taberna del Pintxo our favorite go to tapas & wine bar. AC Hotel's rooftop terrace a nice spot for drinks & views.

Reserva y estancia.

Podemos dividir la experiencia en dos partes:

1- La reserva, todo exigencias y si tenemos en cuenta cuando estoy llegando a Malaga e intento contactar con uno de los tlfs. que no conteesta y llamo a otro nº que me habian facilitado para la entrada en el apartamento, pufff. Depues de identificarme con la persona que contesta al tf. (era una Sra. por llamarla educadamente), al explicarle el motivo de mi llamada y pedirle que me indicase quien era, me cuelga el tfl. Me quede sorprendida y un poco mosqueda pues no sabia a que era debido y si volverian a cogerme el tlf o me quedaria en la calle. Afortunadamente me llamaron desde el tlf. al que yo habia llamado primero

2- La propiedad estaba bien, tal y como describia el anuncio y a punto.

increible terraza!

espacioso y luminoso con una decoración divina!!!

El chillout es genial, quiero volver en primavera para poder disfrutar del jacuzzy.
