Cool, calm and elegant, this three bedroom apartment is located in Santa Cruz, one of the oldest and most atmospheric parts of the city. The area was once Seville’s old Jewish quarter, and is a maze of narrow streets, lime-washed houses and flower-filled patios. Santa Cruz is home to a number of must-see sights and attractions, including the Judería arch, the Callejón del Agua and the Plaza Virgen de los Reyes.  Santa Cruz is located in the very heart of the city, near the famous cathedral, the Alcázar and the baroque Hospital of the Venerables. The area immediately surrounding the apartment is one of the best in Seville for traditional tabernas and tapas restaurants – a leisurely evening tapeo in Santa Cruz is a quintessential Sevilla experience, and an absolute must for all visitors! Housed in a traditional Andalucian building, the apartment itself is bright and welcoming, with lovely views of the city below. The living room is elegant and comfortable, with high ceilings, original artwork on the walls and tasteful furnishings that have been carefully selected to fit in perfectly with the traditional surroundings. The kitchen is large and fully-equipped with everything guests may need during their stay, and there is plenty of space for the dining table that seats four. Each of the three bedrooms has been individually decorated in keeping with the feel of the apartment and has ample wardrobe space for all guests’ storage needs. Both the bathroom and the guest toilet are modern and bright. With its great central location and stylish interior, this is a great option for anyone wanting to spend some time in this vibrant city.

Surface area: 110m2. 2nd floor with lift. Entrance leads to the living area and dining area. The living room is equipped with 2, 2-seater sofas with a wooden coffee table in the center. Small flat screen TV and DVD on a separate TV table. Cupboard with books and CD player. Dining table seats 6 people.  From the dining area you access one of the three bedrooms; twin beds (0.90m x 1.90m), fitted cupboards. This bedroom and the living room have balconies with views of the Cathedral. Right of the dining room you access the fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and a center table with chairs to seat 4 people. The master bedroom is at the end of the corridor and has two beds pushed together (0.90m x 1.90m), fitted cupboards and a small en suite toilet with sink. Room 3 is accessed from the corridor and has a trundle bed;1 bed under the other one (0.80m x 1.90m) and fitted cupboards. This bedroom can sleep 2 people. The bathroom with bathtub is between the master bedroom and the third room.

Vacation travel to Sevilla

We are a family group of five with older teenage/young adult children who love to walk and explore and found this to be a great apartment for us. The owners live close by and were readily available. We were able to safely store our luggage with them until the apartment was available. They supplied us with a couple of easy to use maps and plenty of helpful directions and hints. The apartment is as it appears in the pictures except that it is even closer to the cathedral than I guessed from looking at the map (i.e. walk out front entrance, turn right and walk ~ 100 feet to the plaza in front of the cathedral). It is ~ 20 minute taxi ride from the airport to this apartment. It is very easy to walk to the major tourist stops and very close to a number of tapas bars. Because you are in the heart of the historic district it is louder at night but for the most part this is a distant murmur that did not bother us (but we were in the bedroom furthest from the street). You might want to have heavy sleepers or early awakeners in the bedroom nearest the street as the church bells are heard loudest in this room. The kitchen was a very nice size. Although we did not cook (too many fantastic tapas bars!), we did keep lunch, snack and breakfast items available and noted that that the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies. The appliances, including a washer and dryer, were newer Miele types that were easy to use. The apartment was very clean and very well maintained. There was a small elevator for help with luggage but the stairs were easy to use and well-lit. We felt safe both in the apartment and nearby. There was a taxi stand just across the street from the apartment entrance although we only used it for transport to the airport. We found the bus service easy to use from Plaza de Armas and it was not a difficult walk from this apartment to the bus station (~15-20 minutes given pauses at traffic intersections). We used it for a daytrip to the Roman ruins of Italica. An easy to use grocery was ~ 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. We would stay there again and highly recommend it.

Excellent séjour

Très bel appartement, lumineux et spacieux, aménagé avec goût, très propre et très bien équipé. Prise en charge et Accueil parfaits. Ce fut un délice de vivre ces quelques jours au cœur de la séduisante et grouillante Séville.

Situation idéale pour se promener dans les quartiers historiques de la ville.
