A Very Beautiful And Stylish Georgian Mews Building, Built In 1792.

WE ARE NOT LOCATED IN GRAND CANAL DOCK. OUR LOCATION IS ON LAD LANE, OFF OF BAGGOT STREET.

This is a brand new two bedroom apartment. Built on the ground floor of a much loved and luxurious property in a very cool location in Dublin. It is an oasis of calm but when you step outside you are in the centre of everything. It is a wonderful location from which to explore Dublin at day and at night. I bought this mews 19 years ago.it has been recently refurbished and done to a standard of luxury throughout. The two story mews building comprises of two apartments. This apartment has two bedrooms and has great outdoor space. The apartment is 850 square feet and has a large open plan living and and dining/kitchen area.. There are two bedrooms with two twin beds in each. There are two shower rooms. One of the bathrooms is en-suite. The beds are very high quality. There is a television in each bedroom. These televisions have 5 channels, mostly Irish channels. There is TV in the living room which has the full Sky package with international, sports and movies. There is also a DVD player for European DVDs and an iPod/CD player. There is WiFi throughout the apartment.

The apartment has the original stone walls and has lots of character and is very cosy. The location is right in the centre of Georgian Dublin. It is a strictly no smoking property but smoking is permitted outside. We are interested in renting to mature, responsible people who will respect our property and be considerate of other guests. The apartment has limited wheelchair access. The doors are 900 mm wide. Please enquire for further details.

We rented both the 3 bedroom unit and the 2 bedroom in this wonderful Mews building. We were in Dublin for a family celebration -- and simply could not have wished for more spectacular accommodations. As other reviewers have commented, the apartments are outfitted with the very 'top of the line' everything! The mix of an old building with full character and sleek, modern facilities is the perfect match. To add to the wonderful layout, Mairead was so very thoughtful. She knew we were celebrating a milestone birthday, so we arrived to a lovely bouquet of flowers and a personal birthday card. Such a lovely welcoming gesture. We had Paul pick us up at the airport, and his warm welcome started the weekend on a great stride. Unfortunately there were too many in our group to be able to use his services except for airport transfers, but I would recommend his services to anyone who wants a personalized tour of Dublin. Good location particularly for Trinity College and nearby museums. I am a neat freak and this place was spotless. We loved the relaxed atmosphere at the end of our long days out. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely place to base in Dublin.

Great Stay!

Our stay was a great welcome after a long tour of Ireland heading into our 5 night stay. One note we stayed on the bottom floor, the top floor is rented separately. The location was close to a lot of pubs, stores, etc. It was a short 20 minute walk to The Guinness Storehouse and 15 minutes to the heart of Dublin.

The home was very clean with a lot of extras to make our stay more welcome. The rooms, kitchen and family area was great. Washer and dryer was a great bonus and free Wifi. The home opens up to a nice courtyard in the back which is shared by the upstairs tenants.

The process to renting to checking out was very professional and simple. There was a lot of follow-up prior to us arriving to make sure our stay was a great one.

Overall 5 star, great place. I will stay here again.

Cozy, modern interior with all of the comforts of home (and then some!)

We very much enjoyed our stay at Chez Jay 2 during Christmas Week 2016. While we were in Dublin to see family and explore the area, sometimes it was hard to leave the comfort of our Dublin "home." This quiet and meticulously maintained apartment is centrally located and within easy walking distance of many of the city's more well known areas (Grafton St., St. Stephen's Green, Merrion Square) and a couple of DART stations. It was always easy to catch a taxi if we wanted to go farther out or wanted to give our feet a rest. Our questions were always answered very promptly and thoroughly by the owner/manager; the booking and payment process was straightforward and easy. We appreciated the information we received about nearby restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores. However, this information needs to be edited and updated as several of the restaurants have closed or relocated. We had a great experience at Chez Jay 2 and would highly recommend it!

THE most amazing flat!

We were incredibly impressed by this fabulous mews flat. We have booked through vrbo for 8 years now in places all over the world but this one is a gem. We do what we call slow travel by booking into a place for a month and using it as a base for our forays into the country. This flat is in a superb location, is impeccably detailed, provides great extras for convenience and pleasure and has been furnished beautifully. The beds are among the most comfortable we have had, the kitchen is a dream to cook in, the main open floor room is a fabulous place to hang out.

We usually have our children come stay with us for a week or so and they absolutely adored this place. The private terrace out back is perfect for a quiet glass of wine anytime. For its central location, this flat is remarkably quiet being located in a mews. We walked everywhere easily. There are great restaurants within a couple of blocks or right next door. I cannot praise this flat highly enough!

This place is amazing!

We were blown away with the apartment - the attention to detail was incredible. Everything was perfect, and the location is second to none. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to dublin. Also,a big thank you to paul, who picked us up and dropped us back to the airport, as well as explaining where everything was in the apartment. He put himself out on numerous occasions for us, which we really appreciated.

Lovely property.

The property was lovely. It was very spacious and clean. It had all the amenities. It is close to all the sights we wanted to see: O'Connell Street Bridge, The Gresham Hotel, Guinness Factory, Grafton Street, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christ's Church, Kilmainhom (?) Goal, Dublin Castle and a lot of museums. I could go on (haha). We were able to walk to all these places from the apartment (but you have to like walking) and if you prefer there are loads of taxi's and buses. The transportation system in Dublin is excellent. Will definitely be back.

This mews building is set in the heart of Georgian Dublin. There are two apartments in this building. Chez Jay 1 has 3 bedrooms and is located upstairs. Chez Jay 2 has 2 bedrooms and is located on the ground floor. It was built in 1792 and was originally the stables of one of the great houses in Fitzwilliam Square. It is within short walking distance of great restaurants, pubs, the Shelbourne and the Merrion Hotels and Grafton Street. It is very close to the National Art Gallery and Government buildings. Ireland’s finest Michelin star restaurants are all within easy walking distance. While the area is quiet, there is a real sense of being in the centre of everything. There are lovely walks along the canal and in the parks of Merrion Square and St Stephens Green.

Christmas or New Year - bookings of 7 nights or more. St Patricks Day and Easter - minimum of 5 nights.
A deposit of 25% is required and the balance is paid 60 days before arrival.
Security deposit of $500 due 10 days prior to arrival.
We do not advertise on Craigslist. We accept payment through PayPal and a credit card can be used. We will never ask for a wire transfer and do not use Western Union.
