SMALL APARTMENT AND GREAT!
Alberto was very gracious, he gave me directions using the Metro (My first time in Madrid) and I found it quickly. He received us and patiently him and his wife showed us how to use the Air Conditioned unit and the amenities in the apartment. I LOVED the top bunk. very comfortable. Like being in a college dorm. We got everything we needed to stay like a local. bathroom, washer, microwave, fridge. stovetop. This apartment is a Gem located walking distance from Metro (La Latina Station) Plaza Mayor Street and Palacio Real. I would stay again and again! Gracias Alberto y Marina

Que bello lugar! Chiquito pero acogedor con todo lo que uno necesita!!!! Solo estuvimos dos noches pero nos sentimos tan gusto. Alberto y su esposa siempre atento al teléfono para responder. Gracias por todo!!!!!

Great spot and cute apartment for one
This apartment is right by the palace and about a mile from the Prado and the other museums. You can walk just about anywhere in the downtown area from here. It's a cute little apartment that was a great size for one person, and probably would have been fine for two as well. The kitchen has everything you need and I did a lot of cooking. My only complaint is that there isn't a ton of hot water and I would run out after an 8 minute shower every day.
Location, location, location
As others have mentioned, the apartment is exactly as advertised - small, a bit awkward if you are tall - but clean and very quiet. But best of all is the LOCATION. Other than two taxi rides to get to bus stations to make day trips to Toledo and Segovia, we were always able to walk to wherever we wanted to go. The tapas bars near the Plaza Mayor are just a few minutes away. There is a supermarket just down the street - turning left on Bailen when you come to the end of Calle Angosta. The owner met us right on time when we came by taxi from Atocha station and he arranged a taxi to pick us up at the end of the stay. The driver had a key for the building so we did not have to wait on the street for him to show up and could just leave the room key hanging on the back of the door when we left. Very efficient. It was our first trip to Madrid and this little apartment added a lot to our having a good time.
Wonderful stay in Madrid
Had a wonderful stay at this property. The studio was well equipped and decorated making my stay very comfortable.
Alberto and Maria were very helpful with anything needed, during my one month stay they even arranged to have the studio cleaned halfway through my stay at no charge.
The studio is well located in the center of Madrid within walking distance to many attractions and metro lines.

In the heart of Los Austrias without car you can walk to all the attractions of downtown Madrid. The Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Theatre, Los del Moro gardens are less than 10 minutes away. El Rastro, La Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, El Mercado de San Miguel or Barrio Latino less than fifteen minutes walking. The main museums such as the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofía within 25 minutes walk. La Gran Vía, the street price or Spain Square ten minutes walk. The house is well connected by both metro and bus, and rail. La Casa de Campo, the largest green space in Madrid, is 20 minutes by subway, you can access the Zoo, cable car or the Amusement Park. A leisurely ten minute walk you can go to Madrid Río where you have the possibility to rent bikes to enjoy this lovely walk along the River Manzanares
