Lansing is a quaint sleepy little town nestled on the banks of the Mississippi River.
Lansing offers lots of outdoor opportunities and the loft provides for beautiful quiet space to return to.
Historic building, elegantly decorated and furnished.

"We rented this loft to share with a group of friends over Labor Day weekend, and we had a great experience!! The loft has kind of a funky, artsy vibe. It is spacious and full of things to keep everyone occupied, including a pool table, ping pong table, and several televisions. The kitchen had everything we needed, and everything seemed nice and clean and well maintained. We were pleased to find that we didn't need to travel very far from the property to get things like groceries - for a small town, Lansing has a surprising number of amenities including several bars, a general store and a bakery. Lansing is scenic and makes a nice jumping-off point to explore the sights in the neighboring towns. A great place to make some fun memories!!"
Nicely remodeled huge loft with full kitchen, pool table, ping pong table, TV, video games, modern washer/dryer, deck and tons of beds. Responsive owner. Walk to everything. No WiFi and limited cell data speeds but our cell phones worked for voice/texting and the library down the street had wifi inside, in the lobby (open 24x7) and even on the bench outside. Walk up to Hosmer Park (entrance just several blocks) for a good workout and great view of river valley from top of bluff. Great massage place (Lansing Soap Co) just one block away.
We stayed at the loft for an adult couples get away. It was perfect. Loved every minute. The space is beautiful and large enough for our group of 7 that stayed there and a total of 15 of us total when our other friends came over to visit. The loft is very clean and spacious with great views from the deck of the river. It was within walking distance of bars, places to eat, shops and the river. Even with the lack of bedrooms this was a great place to stay and before we even left, were planning a time for a return trip! Would recommend this loft to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lansing!
A good space for 9 guys to spend the weekend. Having a full kitchen, deck and ping pong table was benefical. Owner was very accommodating and quick to repsond when inquiring about property and finalizing all details. Renters need to bring very limited supplies as almost everything is provided.
What a unique property!
Don't pass up this oppportunity. The loft is everything it appears to be in the pictures. In addition the community of Lansing is a slice of Americana.
We had a group of guys stay a couple nights. The loft provided exactly what we needed.
It should be noted this is one large room. It does not provide seperate sleeping quarters. The beds set up all around the area that surronds the pool table. May be awkward if your in mixed company.
We took full advantage of the kitchen and deck. Also spent time at several of the bars and taverns. All are with-in easy walking distance.
We found all the people in Lansing to be very friendly and eager to visit. Even if your not a Packer fan.
We plan to return next year.
7 of us mostly over 50 years of age male motorcycle enthusiast stayed at the loft for a weekend. The loft had everything we needed to make the trip enjoyable, modern kitchen, comfortable beds, etc.. We also enjoyed the view of the town and river from the kitchen and deck. The area is beautiful.
“WOW! What a gem of a find in the quaint town of Lansing, Iowa! The Lansing Loft was such a pleasant surprise to find! The pictures on the website showed a stylish, lofty space, but in person it was so much more! There was tons of space and we loved the separate “Bar” area and living quarters and personal touches of the owners. The boys LOVED the pool table and video games that were there! We took special notice of the cutesy games and conversation pieces that were scattered throughout the Loft! If we would have been there longer we definitely would have had a Ping Pong tournament. So much space, comfy beds, very clean, unique, right in the heart of downtown Lansing and a view of the river – what more could you ask for? We had the best time! Can’t wait to go back!” -- Betsy Steele
