With all the comforts of a 5* Hotel and an unbeatable location in the heart of Whitstable, this is the perfect apartment for your seaside stay. The apartment is in a beautiful Eighteenth century building and has two double bedrooms and one single bedroom which can accommodate two at a squeeze. An extra cot is available to further accommodate families.

SLEEPING

The master bedroom has a designer King-sized Erdem bed and a large en-suite bathroom with extra-large bath and walk-in shower. The second double bedroom is tastefully furnished with vintage lamps, apple-box side tables and suitcases fashioned into a quirky chest of drawers. The third single bedroom includes a cabin bed which can be set extended to sleep two at a push.. There is an antique steamer trunk packed full of classic board games and beanbags for lounging in comfort.

Guests can arrange to have access to a secluded beach hut on the seat front.

LIVING

The open-plan living/dining room is light and airy with a large corner sofa. There is a large television with DVD player and FreeSat. The living room also boasts a classic book library and a wide selection of up-to-date DVDs. There is a selection of throws and quilts for cozy nights in and a stylish tripod lamp to light up your reading.

The oak dining table seats 6 and the kitchen/diner is a beautiful mix of vintage pieces with up-to-the-minute modern appliances. There is an oven, microwave, induction hobs and quality dinner service and tableware.

The apartment also has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble-dryer, fully working fire sprinkler system, plentiful beach towels.

There is a decked outside area with vintage deck chairs and an outside dining table and chairs. From the roof terrace there is a sea glimpse towards the Isle of Sheppey.

A superb quality apartment close to the sea in whitstable.

Warm and very modern.

Everything you will need is there.

10 out of ten I will give it.

Chris didn't call around or bother us once which is a plus. As we works nights.

Really liked the welcome pack.

Thought it was a really nice touch.

If you don't like the apartment you are either royalty or plain picky.

Would love to stay here again

Great For A Nice Break Away

The Cottage is in a nice friendly village, the beach is about a 5minute walk away the scenery is great. The cottage itself is amazing spacious and perfect for a small group of people or family. Looking forward to staying again.

Whitstable Central

This duplex is approached via a narrow alley and a staircase up to the first floor duplex. The main living area is spacious and bright and overlooks Harbour Street, one of Whitstable's main thoroughfares. Don't try to unload at the front door; the buses will start to accumulate. There is everything; a really well equipped kitchen (the freezer is downstairs in the hallway); lots of games for grownups and toys for children; a loo, a shower room with a loo; a very comfortable sitting area. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and a small outside rooftop terrace. One of the bedrooms opens directly on to the staircase. All in all a lovely apartment.

If you can, try to get the use of the owners' beach hut. It too is brilliantly kitted out, isn't far away, and is very peaceful and cool.

Beautiful apartment in fantastic location. Clean, modern and well-equiped

The apartment was in a great location with excellent equipment and facilities. It was easy to maintain for us with very little needing to be done on check-out. The entertainment and cooking facilities were superb and everything was clean and modern. We missed the option to recycle but could understand why that might not be available in a holiday let. Use of the beach hut was a real bonus, it's a shame we didn't get the chance to use it more than one day during an 11-night break. We didn't expect to have so much provided, such as linen and towels. Even beach towels were provided along with a washing machine and tumble dryer so that we could refresh the linens ourselves. Lots of basics were there as well, such as cleaning stuff, tea, coffee, cooking oils etc. Some of the pans could have done with replacing as the non-stick coating was coming off, meaning it wouldn't be very pleasant to eat anything cooked in them, but that really is a small niggle as the kitchen was very well equipped. The bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. It was very hot in the main bedroom as it didn't seem secure to leave the window open during the night due to flat roofs adjacent to joining properties, so I would like some kind of solution to that if we stayed again during the summer. As for the location, it couldn't be more central for Whitstable. The only drawback being parking during the busy summer period. The owners gave us plenty of tips on finding parking spaces to make that easier.

There was a lot going on in Whitstable and nearby Herne Bay during our visit and we really couldn't recommend this accommodation highly enough.

Wonderful place in the heart of Whitstable

We are so glad we found this place (& are already planning our next visit!)

The Captain's View was so much more than we'd hoped for. Bright, spacious, clean, well equipped and a fantastic location.

The owners were so helpful and ensured we had all the information we needed as well as arranging access to their beach hut (at very short notice). The beach hut is fabulous & such a great 'perk' to what is already a fantastic place to stay.

We were a party of four - 2 adults & 2 children and we felt we had heaps of space. The accommodation is very well designed and beautifully decorated - it has a lovely 'boutique' feel to it whilst also feeling homely and welcoming.

We are sad to be leaving but will definitely be back. (For a week next time!)

In the nearby countryside, apple orchards and oast houses abound. Within 10 miles you can find the world-renowned Canterbury Cathedral, the evocative ruins at Reculver and the beautiful film-location village of Chilham.
