About Chuck and Vickie Love
We have been at the Bay House for 32 years, raised our family here and enjoyed this beautiful area. When we became empty nesters we opted for a smaller place, but wanted others to be able to experience our little piece of paradise. We hope you will consider staying here and vacationing. There is so much see and do. We would love to host you.
Chuck and Vickie Love purchased this House in 1985
Why Chuck and Vickie Love chose Park Hill
We often came from Kansas to this area to vacation on the Illinois River and Lake Tenkiller. It had the best of both worlds. We love floating the river and boating on the lake. We knew this was where we wanted to live. We purchased this house and over the years the house was remodeled and became much more spacious and family accomodating. We have put a lot of work into our yard and created a well maintained park-like environment. Its just a great place to relax and enjoy family and friends.

New Year's Fabulous Family Reunion
Wonderful venue for a family reunion! Cozy yet spacious. Living area allowed loud crowd games and quiet intimate conversations. The kitchen had everything we needed to feed over a dozen people for 3 days. Families could escape to comfortable beds. We brought in the New Year around a roaring fire in the fire pit. What a memory! We will definitely consider a return.
Tom you are just one of our favorites. We have loved meeting different people in your family. So good to have you back.
2nd Thanksgiving here - Loved it, very comfortable!!
We stayed at the Bay House for the 2nd Thanksgiving in a row and absolutely loved it! All of the details, from the comfortable bedding and soft and fluffy towels to the seasonal decorations and dishes, are well thought out. Spent one day on the lake with the kayaks, which were a very nice addition this year, the kids had a great time. Cooking our Thanksgiving meal was great too, we had all of the dishes, pots and pans and cookware we needed! Thank you again Chuck and Vickie for a wonderful family get-together in this lovely home!!
It is an honor and pleasure to host your wonderful family during the holidays. You are the model that home owners look for!! Just know you are welcome back anytime.

Couldnt have had a better place to stay. Great owners and beautiful home. They even left us brownies for our arrival. Plenty of space for our group of 12 and easy access to town and the lake.

Bay House at Tenkiller Lake
Nine members of my family stayed at the Bay House near Tenkiller Lake, and it was pretty much perfect for our purposes. Everyone got to sleep in a bed; the house was equipped with everything we needed and more; it was spacious and the interior design was just lovely; the grounds were spacious and so well-kept; and the owners were super friendly and helpful. I kept bugging them with emails, but they always had an answer for me, including suggesting activities in the area and directing us to the closest marina. The location of the house was great — about 15 minutes’ drive from town and about 15 or so minutes’ drive from the marina. But I have to say my favorite part of our stay was just sitting out on the porch with the outdoor fans spinning lazily overhead, chatting and reminiscing with my family while sipping on cocktails and listening to the cicadas in the background. I definitely would return for another visit at the Loves’ Bay House, and I’m going to tell my friends about it.
Thank you for your kind words. Your family was the perfect guests and I just love that cousins get together and spend time with each other. We will have more beds next year so if more come we should be able to accomodate them too. We would love to host your family anytime!! And Thanks for bringing some Kansas memories for us.!!
The Illinois River is 20 miles away on scenic Hwy 10. This is an absolute beautiful drive and there are many resorts along the drive that have raft and kayak rentals.
The Cherokee Nation is headquartered in Tulsa with an open door policy for all who want to tour. A gift shop in on the same location. There are many historical museums, cultural centers, the Cherokees 1st college of higher learning is on the NSU campus and many tribal business are throughout the town. Strolling in the old downtown is a favorite past time.
