About Renee Burnett
My husband David and I moved to Tucson almost 20 years ago looking for our future! We found a wonderful city filled with many things to do but still retaining the feel of a small town. We are both now semi retired and wanted to share the beauty of Tucson with others. David worked as an independent insurance adjuster while Renee has her own bookkeeping firm, Dream Books. She travels to small business to help them with their bookkeeping need. We are parents to 2 wonderful daughters and one outstanding son-in-law, all living in town! And grandparents to the two best grandchildren! (Doesn't everyone have the best grandchildren?1?) We enjoy being outside on our patio watching birds and waving to neighbors. Life is as slow paced as we want it to be.
Renee Burnett purchased this House in 2015
Why Renee Burnett chose Bear Canyon Hills
Roadrunner Alley was passed down to us by David's family. We stayed at the home many times through the years before we moved here. We felt safe letting our young children playing out in the yard and cal-du-sac. We know that your family will make as many wonderful memories as we did in this fully remodeled home.
What makes this House unique
While desert weather is wonderful in the winter, it is a short drive to Mt. Lemon a peak over 9,000 ft elevation for all your winter sports. If you are a bike rider, part of the rout for Le Tour de Tucson is only a block away!

Impeccable, cozy home...has everything you would ever need!
My husband and I stayed at this wonderful home over Thanksgiving weekend with our 2 teenage kids. We were there to visit my in-laws like we do every weekend after Thanksgiving. We normally stay at the Casitas at Sabino Springs because of its proximity to our family, but they were all booked up this year and I have to say I'm glad they were! I'm the manager and owner/manager of a number of short term vacation rentals in Los Angeles/Malibu area and I was super impressed and even walked away with a few ideas I'm going to steal from Renee. :-) .The owners thought about every possible thing you might need during a stay away from home. While we didn't really use the kitchen, it was fully stocked (I opened up every drawer and cabinet out of curiosity). Renee put out some fresh muffins and pretty flowers for us, which was a nice touch. Binder had instructions for all the appliances and a general information sheet for the TV's etc. Plenty of towels, comfortable warm beds and, most importantly, very comfortable king pillows. Shampoo/conditioner/soap in the showers. We didn't use the backyard at all but plenty of space to entertain or just hang out. If you are looking for an immaculate, well equipped, spacious, beautiful home, no need to look any further. Would definitely book again for next Thanksgiving weekend! Thank you Renee!
Thank you so much for your kind words Tara! Our goal for Roadrunner Alley is for people to feel like it is a home away from home.
Loved how comfortable the beds, linens were. Loved the few extra details of having a few toys there for my kids and some milk, fruit and muffins as we had a late arrival. We felt at home! We didn’t want to leave ;)
Thank you Heather for your kind works! We love having little ones stay at Roadrunner Alley. It only makes sense for me to help make the first morning as relaxing as possible. We want all of our guests to fill that Roadrunner Alley is their home away from home. Come stay again, anytime!
Renee went above and beyond to make us feel at home! Our stay was more than comfortable and not one detail was overlooked!
Thank you so much Lisa! We want our guest to feel that they have found their home away from home. We look forward to hosting your family anytime in the future.
We really enjoyed staying here. Lots of space for the grand kids to play. I get up early, so it was nice to sit and have my coffee and watch the wildlife. Also, we were close to many of the attractions that Tucson has to offer.
Renee, thank you for the muffins and fruit you left for us. It was a perfect way to get started on our first morning.
I would definitely recommend staying here.
Thank you Fay!. Being a grandparent myself, I wanted Roadrunner Alley to be a place where there was little that could be hurt by children or hurt children. On vacation the last thing you want to do is worry about what the children are doing. We want your stay to be as worry free as possible.
We look forward to hosting your family again.
Make Yourself at Home Here!
We had a fantastic 6 week stay at this nice home! From the minute we arrived Renee was the perfect hostess & neighbor. We made ourselves at home in this nicely redone home with a kitchen that had everything we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet. We enjoyed watching the local roadrunners, quails, hawks & even the nightly owl. You can begin a hike up bear canyon right from the house.
Thank you so much, Holly for your kind words! We certainly enjoyed your stay! We love the quiet neighborhood. The wild life is so much fun to watch. We have tried to make Roadrunner Alley your home away from home. Come stay anytime.!
Great house, very quiet location and an owner who really pays attention to detaisl
The house is really comfortable, very recent and close to the National Park. Renee is really nice and pays great attention to details. Very enjoyable stay!
Thank you so much Nicolas! We want each of our guest to have a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We hope to host you and your family again. Your boys were wonderful!
Roadrunner Alley is located in the northeast of Tucson. It is a very quiet neighborhood were the locals enjoy both walking and bike ridding. Saguaro National Park East is an easy way to see the desert up close. Sabino Canyon has a tram ride with narration about the local wildlife and vegetation. Take the tram one way and hike part of the canyon. Colossal Cave, about 25 mile southeast, has tours, restaurant and gift shop. These are just a few of Tucson east side attractions! This area provides all of the attraction of a large city with a small town feel!
