I'm not getting that so Ill just write it here and you write it for me and sigh it.
It took me 3 days before I noticed the mobile in the bedroom and another 10 before I noticed the rabbit in the kitchen!
What else is hidden in my charming, lovely casita?
I love that it felt like home from day one. You can see and feel the love that was put into it.....best of all Casita Elana has a sense of humor. I felt so at home, I truly did not want to leave.
I discovered De Vargus mall about a week before I left. You take a right on San Francisco St. till it practically runs into it. I loved Sprouts grocery store and the mall has a nice little movie theater.
The location is wonderful no matter which way your going. Thank you so much for my lovely stay.
I have had the pleasure of spending a month at Casita Elena, and cannot say enough about the wonderful landlords and the clean and beautifully decorated historic casita. I came here without my car, but it proved to be no problem, as stores and the center of town is in easy walking distance. The washer and dryer made the extended stay easy, and the generous start up provisions were very helpful. I have felt so cared for and highly recommend this beauty to anyone visiting the area. If you do bring a car, there is parking provided. The kitchen had plenty of utensils etc. to cook great meals, I really enjoyed the fireplace. You will want to come back!
My husband and I enjoyed a long fall weekend at Casita Elena. It was clean, quiet, and well-appointed with coffee and tea, eggs and butter, and a bottle of wine. Linda was very responsive by phone and email during the booking process and throughout our stay. She made some great restaurant recommendations and suggestions about where to hike nearby. The casita was an easy walk to the plaza and a short (10') drive to magnificent hiking trails, where we were able to see the aspens in their bright yellow fall glory. We'd definitely stay there again!
Beautiful, quiet, well appointed.
Loved the location....could walk to the Plaza. All was sooo homey! Eggs/ butter/ carrot juice / coffee w/ cream was soooo thoughtful and helpful!!
Casita Elena was the perfect accommodation for my husband and me. The rooms, with high ceilings, were beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture and local art. We fell right into the southwestern mode. The owner provided coffee, tea and eggs for our morning breakfast. The kitchen was well equipped though we didn't use it much. It was a pleasure to walk to and from excellent restaurants each morning and evening. Though we were close to the downtown action, the neighborhood was very quiet. I highly recommend Casita Elena and would stay there again.
We got married in Santa Fe and only had a few nights for a honeymoon. Casita Elena suited us for location. But it turned out to be so much more. The property is wonderfully maintained, quiet, cool with the a/c and just the right size for two people. The owner went above and beyond providing a bottle of wine as well heart-shaped teacups and saucers and heart-shaped ice-cubes. We had to delay our departure by an hour and she was more than happy to accommodate us.
Recommended without reservation.
