Walk to Plaza and Railyard area with comfortable Southwest charm
Casita Elena was a wonderful home base for a visit to Santa Fe and the surrounding areas. We walked easily to the Plaza and Railyard areas for sightseeing and restaurants. It is also just a quick walk to a shopping area with a super market, pharmacy, etc. The Casita interior is furnished in a charming Southwest style throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and has ample counter space. The bathroom and shower area is large with a skylight, and well stocked with towels. The bed is very comfortable.
Our host was attentive and thoughtful, leaving us some provisions and inquiring about our experience during our stay.
We completely recommend Casita Elena as a charming and very convenient location for Santa Fe visitors who want to experience the Plaza area without the noise and the bustle.
Thank you Catherine for writing such a lovely review; we really appreciate it and so glad that you enjoyed your stay.
Casita Elena was truly a homeaway from home
I have had the pleasure of spending a month at Casita Elena, and cannot say enough about the wonderful landlords and the clean and beautifully decorated historic casita. I came here without my car, but it proved to be no problem, as stores and the center of town is in easy walking distance. The washer and dryer made the extended stay easy, and the generous start up provisions were very helpful. I have felt so cared for and highly recommend this beauty to anyone visiting the area. If you do bring a car, there is parking provided. The kitchen had plenty of utensils etc. to cook great meals, I really enjoyed the fireplace. You will want to come back!
Dear Anne Lise,
Thank you so very much for the lovely comments about your stay at Casita Elena. You were a delight and so enjoyed meeting and talking with you.
Hope your remodel turned out great!
Wonderful, cute and comfy
We stayed 4 nights at Casa Elena. It's a wonderful space, roomy and comfortable. The decor is lovely. The parking space is handy. It's a quick walk to the plaza and nearby restaurants and shopping. Check in and out was easy. We will definitely stay again!
Home away from home. Sweet
Great stay. It was like staying at a five star hotel but better. Linda thought of all our needs from a comfortable bed , nice bottle of wine , staples for breakfast. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it .
Cute and cozy. Perfect for a couple.
The House was in a quiet neighborhood and a quick walk to the plaza. Coming from a bigger city I’m used to busier streets, so the lack of noise during our night walks took some time to adjust to.
The House was a perfect fit for my wife and I. Warm at night, cool in the day. The kitchen had enough cookery for our home-cooked breakfast. Linda added a nice touch with coffee beans and sparking water.
The shower had great water pressure and Linda provided trader joe’s shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The canopy bed was charming and mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable.
The only downside to the property was the slow wi-fi. Uploading trip pictures and videos to social media took a while. Streaming Netflix and movies during our downtime at night was painstakingly slow.
Despite this, I would definitely stay here again.
Great location and a very nicely appointed property.
Casita Elena is a beautiful property that is very nicely appointed. Everything you need is already here, including coffee beans and grinder! The host is outstanding! Linda has made this property feel like home. It is very convenient walking to downtown with great restaurants, galleries and museums. We highly recommend this spot!
