Belle Moons - Riverside House is a modernized country home, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths house on a large 1/3 acre parcel. It is located in the lively "Springs" area....artsy, eclectic and the big neighbor is the 5 star spa resort. The cafes, mini-shops and the town Plaza are a few minutes away. The green grounds are covered with many mature trees next to Sonoma Creek......where you may see salmon and herons.
As soon as you enter you get the sense of a brand new, stylized house out of cool architectural magazines. Almost every square inch has been re-newed with high-end custom finishes. There are "angled" bamboo floors throughout the sun filled rooms. The living room has a romantic gas fireplace in the corner, surrounded by comfy sofas.
The vaulted kitchen has 3 designer pendant lights. It is also equipped with a new gas stove, s/s LG fridge, LG dishwasher and eco-friendly bamboo countertops.
The master bedroom suite has a king size bed with French doors which lead to the expansive redwood deck. The master bathroom has radiant heating tiled floors and custom Italian light fixtures. Spacious shower stall next to a soaker tub with a large window giving you the creekside view. Create your own spa with scented candles and lavender in the warm tub.....simple and soothing.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed and lots of closet space. The second bathroom has a spacious shower stall. The "Takagi" tankless water heater generates hot water on demand and is energy efficient. Spend time outdoors lounging .........relax, read and look for butterflies.

I enjoy celebrations with family and friends.
The Owner purchased this cottage in 2004
Living in a beautiful town of Sonoma Valley is so serene, safe and tranquil.
Besides the charming environment, the community of people are friendly and welcoming.
Riverside House is conveniently located; it is 45 miles to SF Golden Gate Bridge, .5 mile to a 5 star spa, 2 miles to the Sonoma Plaza, and surrounded by countless wineries in the valley.
Charming looking cottage & grounds
Neighbors and other vacationers were pleasant
Manager was responsive to our issues
A few hours after being in the house we discovered that the living room, front bedroom and kitchen all run on the same electric circuit
-- hence breaker tripped multiple times a day, like when you had the TV on and turned on the microwave
-- most often at happened at night because of the addition of turning the lights on
Heat but not central: there is a gas stove in the living room and electric heaters in bedrooms
-- thermostat on the wall was confusing, no information about how the "heating" in the house worked. We ended up shutting off the gas on the heater on Christmas eve, and was unable to turn it back on Christmas morning (freezing).
Luckily the manager was able to come out and get it turned back on that morning.
WiFi but no internet. Luckily I have infinity and was able to us the xfiniftywifi, which essentially piggy backs on the internet of nearby routers. But the cottage wifi internet was slow and intermittent at best.
For most occasions you would expect visitors to get out and enjoy the local scene- but after much research I discovered that wine country is largely shut down on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Hence, I planned a holiday of cooking and relaxing. Maybe some binge watching of Christmas movies or playing of some TV apps (games).
Unfortunately, it turns out the television in the cottage was very old. So old in fact, that there was no HDMI plug and therefore no way to plug in my Chromecast or Amazon fire. Though it seems trivial, that paired with the lack of internet basically cancelled out my plans. No Movies, no games.
I felt like I was transported to 1998, endlessly flipping through 100s of channels of garbage--though we were fortunate enough to catch a viewing of "My Cousin Vinny," thank goodness.
Of course, the TV and internet wouldn't normally ruin a trip to wine country, but pair this with the multiple trips outside the pry open the breaker box to restore electricity, this house barely met the basic requirements of a vacation home, never mind the fact that is had little of the amenities I would expect in the technology capital of the world.
We spent a great 5 nights at this wonderful creekside cottage. Tucked away off a quiet street with plenty of parking and a very well equipped kitchen, two of us, our adult daughter and two pups were very comfortable and had plenty of room to move around during a recent vacation there. Jennifer was very helpful - responsive - informative. Everything was as advertised. We highly recommend this place for 4 people comfortably and perhaps more if family.
We traveled with another couple and this cottage was absolutely perfect for the four of us. It is absolutely serene , The master bed was so incredibly comfortable as we had spent two nights in San Francisco at a hotel which was not as comfortable at all. Sitting on the back deck truly serene. It's a beautiful cottage & the radiant floor in the master was heavenly as mornings were a bit chilly. Perfectly located to enjoy vineyards or the plaza area. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars is the living room furniture wasn't all the comfortable or where all of us could sit. However great cottage & Jennifer was always great with communication from start to finish. Thank you !
Just as it shows in the pictures. Very clean. Owner easy to work with.
Everything was easy and just as described. Great communication with the host. Will book again if needed!
BelleMoons Cottage, was the perfect getaway. We were two couples both celebrating Anniversaries. The cottage is in a nice quiet residential neighborhood, not too far away from downtown. The kitchen is well stocked with every thing you need to cook, and the BBQ outside was a bonus. We spent our days wine tasting, then were able to come back and enjoy the quiet, and visit. Plenty of space inside and out for the four of us and we were all quite comfortable. The king mattress tends to sink to the middle a bit, other than that we had no complaints. We will definitely come back and would highly recommend staying here.
Dance, Aerobic and Yoga studios nearby.
5 Star spa/resort minutes away.
Over 30 wineries and tasting rooms.
