Small Ballard guest house
Otherwise than a mixup in getting the house lock code we had a very good experience.
Nice for two people. Good price. Quiet neighborhood.
The fold out bed was a little uncomfortable and small. Parking for a mid size SUV was tight and tedious to get in to. Suggest removing the big cement barriers. Not sure why they are there.
This cottage was absolutely perfect! Kevin was a pleasure to work with any questions we had before we came to Seattle. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice stay
Earl Cottage was exactly what I needed for my weekend in Seattle. The neighborhood is lovely, the cottage was clean and makes great use of space, and the sofa bed surprisingly comfortable. I appreciated Kevin's prompt response to any questions and good information about the area. I would definitely stay again.
Earl Cottage is where it's at!
The cottage was perfect for our short stay in Ballard. While the cottage is small, it has everything you need. Small kitchen, washer/dryer, wifi, and parking! There was a binder with helpful information for the cottage as well as restaurants/shops in the area to visit. Ballard is a cool city with tons to do. You won't be disappointed with the cottage. :)
It certainly isn't the Ritz but we were very happy with our stay. We stayed 6 nights and we were very comfortable. We had pretty much everything we needed, kitchen, stove, toaster, bathroom amenities, parking space, etc. The neighborhood was quiet. An advantage is the easy walking access to the beach/park. From there you can grab a Lime bike or two and explore Seattle up close. The host was very accessible but we didn't really need anything.
We would stay their again if and when we return to the Seattle area.
Golden Gardens Park is a major destination. It’s one of the few sandy beaches in Seattle, and you’ll find beach volleyball courts, kite flyers, sand castles, and barbecue pits.
Every Sunday during the year, the Ballard Farmer’s Market is open for business.
