8 adults and 1 toddler stayed here over labor day weekend to attend a baseball game in Oakland - go Red Sox! The home is very spacious and we had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed staying in for a BBQ and hanging out on the large deck overlooking the bay. Uber is a good choice for a ride to the city. Mike and Stacie were very pleasant to deal with and we would definitely recommend! Diane and family from the East coast!
My daughter was getting married in Tiburon and we needed a large home for our extended family to stay, and this home was wonderful! With the large kitchen and open plan interior with both casual and formal living and eating spaces - it was perfect for us to hang out in and cook together. And the 4 bathrooms were perfect for the bride and her bridesmaids to have hair and makeup done! We agree with all the other compliments about the home's convenient location to all Marin County has to offer, and it is also only a 30-40 minute drive to Sonoma and Napa wineries. The views from the spacious outdoor deck are great when utilizing the BBQ and hot tub.
Thanks, Mike for letting us enjoy your home - we felt at home!
We attended a wedding in the area and our group of 10 stayed at the house for 3 days. It was set up very nicely for this as there are several indoor and outdoor areas to sit and dine together. Location is an easy drive to the Tiburon ferry to San Francisco or travel over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Like several other reviewers, we came to Tiburon for a family gathering. East Lansing (Okemos), Seattle and San Francisco family members spent a wonderful extended weekend in this outstanding home. We concur with all the positive comments of others who have rented the home. We took a day trip to Angel Island via the ferry in Tiburon. Anyone interested in immigration to the U. S. or the military history of the island may want to add Angel Island to their itinerary. We would only add that the deck was a very special pleasure. It is large, scenic and comfortably appointed. We put the grill and hot tub to use. Thanks so much for being an genuine host, Mike.
We had a wonderful time. The whole time was as much as we could have hoped for. Your home is so beautiful and set in such a scenic location. Everyone loved your home and we had many many comments of what a great idea it was to have the family together.
Thank you for letting us be in your home.
We are very grateful for the family time spent together, for the memories, and for the comfort of your home to spend it in. Thank you,
We live in the Bay Area and wanted to find a place that would accommodate two families for thanksgiving. We truly enjoyed this property and the amenities, from the black friday shopping a few miles away, to the quick ferry ride back to SF, a grocery store a few miles away, everything was perfect. A few quick pointers:
-This is the owners primary residence, so all the utensils and equipment to cook a full thanksgiving meal was provided. We brought our own pans, etc., but it was not necessary.
-The home has 4 full showers which helped for us getting ready in the morning
-The kitchen is fantastic, a full 6 burner gas stove and commercial grade convection oven
-There is a hot tub, it fits 4 comfortably
-There are two real living areas which provide great separation if you have larger groups of people that want their space. Also, the kitchen table can fit 8-10 comfortably and the dining room table is about the same
The home was quiet and well appointed overall, great linens, towels and laundry in the home. There are creature comforts that made this feel like a home away from home (cable tv, audio input on the stereo system and a few fireplaces) as well as a million dollar view that makes waking up every morning feel like a very relaxing vacation.
