A beautiful apartment in the heart of the East Side easily accommodates four.
Welcome! I hope to learn about you during your visit, and here are some details about me. I have spent my career working in the nonprofit field with individuals with disabilities. I currently serve as the Executive Director of a large community-based nonprofit called Creative Works, which supports people with developmental disabilities, brain injury, physical limitations and other special needs. I find this work very fulfilling, and am fortunate to be surrounded by compassionate people with good hearts. This organization is both innovative and entrepreneurial in creating opportunities for people with significant disabilities to find meaningful employment. One of our largest social enterprises is called Maine Woodworks, which makes and sells hardwood cottage-style painted furniture to retailers throughout New England. You will see examples of our craft throughout the house. I truly hope you have an enjoyable stay with me, and that you are able to sample some of the many great restaurants, museums, and places of great natural beauty we have to offer. Have fun!

Why Owner chose College Hill
This property has had very few owners, and the previous owners lived here for over 70 years. As a result, it retains virtually all of its original and charming historic details.
What makes this Apartment unique
This property used to overlook a huge reservoir. During World War II, fear that the water supply would be poisoned led the decision to fill the reservoir, resulting in the large park across the street.

This is a beautiful property, great location! The bathroom was very small and it was difficult to plug in devices in the bedroom.
very comfortable, roomy with a good kitchen and a great location.
Beautiful, safe apartment with excellent access
The apartment is clean, nicely furnished, and in a safe and accessible part of town. Access in and out of the property is easy and secure with Schlage keypad locks. I walked to/from the Brown University campus area (about 0.5 mi) for dinner and walked daily to/from my conference on the west side of the Capitol (about 1 mile). All of my walks were early morning or very late at night, by myself, and I never felt unsafe. The kitchen had every utensil I could have needed to prepare or eat, and they had coffee, creamer, juice, and brioche buns for me. The bathroom had a variety of soaps and shampoos, as well as little things like Qtips and a hair dryer. I stayed by myself, so sleeping on the bed (might be a double size?) was comfortable. I only sat on the futon, but saw a note that there was a mattress pad and sheets available for that. The skylights made the apartment feel very open and bright, which I loved. The only potential criticism might be that the apartment is upstairs in an older home with creaky wood floors. I could hear guests of the downstairs apartment(s) walking around and shutting doors, and I imagine they could hear me squeaking down the stairs when I was coming or going early/late. My co-guests were not generally loud and neither was I, so I can't comment about how sound from loud talking or music might convey through the house. Overall, I left wanting to come back and walk around Providence some more - if I do, I will certainly stay here!!
Space is clean & spacious with great light. Perfect for a long weekend. If you have trouble with stairs, this might not be the best option for you (it's on the third floor), but it's very comfortable & has an easy check-in process.
Lovely apartment on College Hill. Convenient to Brown. Listed as 2 bedrooms, but is a one-bedroom with a futon couch in the living room. Hosts were very helpful. Would visit again.
Lovely property in a great location.
Directions to access the house was spot on and easy to follow. Communication with the owner was smooth. The rental is the 3rd floor of the house which is nice and spacious. It's within a 10 minutes walk to the Brown Univ campus. Overall a great stay.
