Kihei Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Other (See Description), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-4)

Our Mana Kai 803 condo is RIGHT ON MAUI'S BEST BEACH...KEAWAKAPU BEACH. Our unit is very well maintained and constantly updated. It is so comfortable, much like a home away from home.

The TOP FLOOR VISTA from our lanai, high above the palms, offers a UNIQUE, BREATHTAKING VIEW of sunsets over the ocean and sunrises over Haleakala, miles of beach frontage, and whale watching. This is accompanied by the soothing sound of ocean waves, making it truly heavenly. You will be spoiled from the minute you walk out on our lanai.

WALK RIGHT OUT FROM THE NEWLY REMODELED LOBBY and POOL AREA ONTO THE BEACH for a long beach walk, read a good book under a palm tree or go for swim and snorkel in the ocean or dip in heated pool. The condo is fully equipped, with a lovely, one of a kind CUSTOM TEAK DECOR.

It has a fully mirrored wall behind the couch in the living room. There is one private bedroom and a sofa which folds out into a double bed in the living room area, for an extra 2 people. You will find our unique floor plan diagram at the website listed below under Links.

There is a no need to drive anywhere, just relax and enjoy a little slice of heaven right at the Mana Kai.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We absolutely loved staying in your beautiful condo. So comfortable and so beautifully located. We had breakfast and lunch on the balcony looking down on lots of weddings and festivities of all sorts.

We would love to stay again at some point and explore even further the charms of Maui.

Thanks again for letting us stay in your heavenly home.

Lovely condo, amazing view!

First of all, 803 at the Mana Kai is a lovely condo inside and out. The owners have it all set up with everything we needed for our stay. The bedroom was very comfortable. We left the windows open so we could hear the ocean all night. The kitchen is well stocked the bathrooms have plenty of towels, including beach towels. My favorite part of this condo, however, was the view. This condo is on the top floor (8th floor) and it has one of the best views at the Mana Kai. Every morning we woke up to have coffee and breakfast on the lanai with a spectacular view. We could often see sea turtles right from the lanai. It's a perfect spot for relaxing and reading a good book.

This was our second stay at the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai is on a lovely beach on the South side of Kihei. It's a great location -- close enough to easily travel to the town for groceries, shops, restaurants, but far enough to be away from the crowds. The beach itself is beautiful. We have never seen it crowded. There is nice snorkeling right outside the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai has a good restaurant right downstairs. They have an extended happy hour and it's a great, convenient place to go for a light dinner and drinks. They also have rentals right at the Mana Kai now, something that wasn't present the last time we visited, which was about seven years ago. Now you can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, boogie boards and snorkel gear right on site. We took advantage of this and rented both kayaks and stand up paddle boards at reasonable rates. The pool has been re-done since we were last there and it is very pleasant. We never had to fight for lounge chairs at the pool or on the large grassy area next to the beach, as we have had to do at other resorts on Maui.

The owners are also very nice. We were scheduled to fly in right when not one, but two hurricanes were projected to hit Hawaii. The owners allowed us to delay our trip at the last minute and we really appreciated that.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at 803 Mana Kai. If you want to have a lovely, relaxing vacation, I recommend you come here. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. Nine days was not enough.

Vacation Paradise

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent 8 nights here and loved every minute. The view simply cannot be beat. From the lanai you look left and see the mountains and hillside homes, look right and you see Molokini and whales and in between an exquisite view down the white sands beach all the way to the Wailea resorts. We were there in the middle of April so the sun never hit the lanai or into the room, which was a blessing since it was in the mid 80,s every day. We spent most of our time at the beach or laying on the lounges in the grass right next to the beach.

The place is located at the very South end of Kihei so the traffic in and out was easy. Close enough to stores, restaurants and golf courses, but out far enough to be away from the crowds. The beach was great for swimming and there was also good snorkling around the rocks at the West end of the building. The restaurant downstairs had a good happy hour menu and drinks. There is a nice deli/convenience store on the ground floor as well as a shop to rent water sports gear.

This unit is unique in many ways. First, it is a relatively large 1 bedroom unit with the bedroom in the back where most of the other units have their 'hotel' style room. Those other units have the master bedroom adjacent to the living room. This place has that space as part of the living/dining room. So instead of a studio type feel, this place has a nice sized living/dining room to enjoy. It does have a foldout couch bed if you need to sleep a couple more. The next unique thing is this place feels like a home, not a vacation rental. Since I like to cook I was thrilled to actually find a nice, sharp, knife set. Also all of the pots, pans, bowls and every other tool you might want was there. Also lots of spices and a few other staples were available. The towels were nice, there were beach items in the storage closet.

We will surely be going back again.

We love to hear that you appreciated the spaciousness of our condo, our spectacular view, our kitchen set up, the beach and the many convenient Mana Kai amenities! Our hope is that our guests will feel very comfortable and at home in 803 and many have mentioned as you did, that our condo feels more like a home than a vacation rental. Best place on Maui!

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed here several times and will continue to go back. Tish and Janie (the sisters who own the unit) are wonderful; they do an amazing job of keeping the unit updated and spotless, and they are a pleasure to work with. The unit itself is one of a kind; it is located in a prime spot with unbelievable sunsets and ocean views. The beach below is gorgeous and never too crowded. I like this place too because it is close to a lot of fun things to do, but it is not too touristy. Overall my FAVORITE place to stay on Maui, and I have been coming to Maui for 30 years now!!! Highly recommended :)
