Perfect country spot for families
Jean Michel and his wife made us so welcome in this charming home. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook and enjoy our meals in the garden. Everything in the house worked well and the hosts were nearby if we had questions. They provided maps and plenty of information about the area to help us explore and enjoy our stay.
Beautiful house in idyllic countryside. Very comfortable and well equipped
We were a family of four with two adult children. The house is easily big enough to accommodate us all. We visited Sadirac by bike and Bordeaux by car. This was a very relaxing stay. Thank you Jean Michel and Fabienne
It 's a great pleasure of receiving an English family when the people are curious, cordial and have this "so British" humour.
Amazing accommodation, very comfortable & great hosts!
This property has everything u need for a relaxing holiday in beautiful wine country. The hosts are super friendly and helpful and have setup the cottage superbly! So close to beautiful wineries at St Emilien ( which should not be missed), supermarket close by also. Thanks so much for an amazing stay! Mel, Matt & Isabelle xxx
The pleasure is always great to accommodate the people coming from the end of the world, , curious to discover our small area lost in the middle of the oldest vineyards of Europe. They will be there always welcome.
A quirky former wine cellar, in a lovely rural French village
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We spent a day touring the wine regions of Bordeaux, and the cottage was equally wine-themed which really put us in the mood!
One of our party uses a wheelchair, and the cottage worked well for him. There is a large walk in shower (wet room style), and plenty of space.
We loved the wine bottle on arrival, the coffee machine, and the fact that the cottage remained cool regardless of the searing sun outside. We also loved the decor.
It is always a pleasure when the holidaysmaker appreciate places and know how to take advantage of its qualities and go to the discovery of the wealth of our region.
We are happy to know that you had a good stay there.
We shall welcome you again with a lot of pleasure.
We were warmly welcomed and both hosts spent time with us, explaining about the house, the area, how to get to places, etc. We especially loved seeing the orchard and appreciated their generosity with the wine in the fridge and the walnuts from their tree. Plenty of herbs growing on the garden which made cooking more aromatic. We enjoyed going to the market in nearby Creon
A real pleasure to receive this tourists, very curious, attentive and sensitive to the environment. We appreciated the interest for places and its history and our activities.
Thank's for all.
Beautiful property in a tranquil part of France
This is a beautifully restored property in a very peaceful part of France with lots of character. The bathrooms are superb and the kitchen is very well equipped. It feels like a real home. There is a boulangerie and a bar/café 5 minutes away by car and an excellent supermarket 10 minutes away by car. We didn’t cycle but there is an excellent cycle path network almost on the doorstep. A visit to Bordeaux, St Emilion and Arcachon is a must. Thank you Jean Michel et Fabienne you made us feel very welcome.
We were happy to receive you; you knew how to understand our small village and its history; your good mood tempts us to receive you again; thank a lot.
