Modern house in an idyllic setting with a pool and the beach right out the back door!
We stayed at Tony and Sara's beach house for just over a week and had a really amazing time in Ganh Do. The house is laid out like a regular European family home and has all the mod cons and accessories you would ever think to need, plus the pool and beach so close by is naturally fantastic. Tony went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, including arranging transfers, moped hire, a day out on a local fishing boat, etc - thanks Tony! Highly recommended to those seeking something a little more authentic and off the beaten track!
Thanks for the kind words. We are so happy that you liked our beach villa and our service. We loved to have you as our guests. Hope to see you again
C'est magnifique! Nous reviendrons bientot :)f

Thank you. It was a pleasure having you as our guests / Tony & Sara
The property sits on a stunning bay on the beachfront. The house is spacious with three bedrooms, and well furnished including microwave and washing machine. I was there solo, but can definitely recommend for families, as there is plenty of sand to keep the kids occupied! It is very remote, so ideal for those who want to relax in one place and "get away from it all". Excellent wifi. I had Tony and Sarah's housekeeper do the cooking for me, but if you you are planning on cooking yourself, you will need to plan for the week, and stop at the supermarket in a distant city prior to arrival. Tony and Sarah were great hosts and can help with anything you need. Recommended!
Thank you! It was our pleasure having you as our guest and so nice to meet you. Take care Best regards Sara & Tony
Fabulous villa in a stunning location
This is a fabulous villa with all the amenities you need positioned right on a stretch of a beautiful beach. The villa itself is beautifuly furnished and both Tony and Sara were fantastic offering great customer service. It was a great experience to be able to see the real Vietnam and the locals were so friendly. Visiting the local market is a must. Thank you Tony and Sara for a great few days.
Thank you for your kind words. We are happy that you liked Ganh Do and the beach villa. We hope you had a great vacation och really good weather the last days in the south. You are more than welcome back and we hope to meet you again. Take care Sara & Tony
Thank you for wonderful week
Thank you ”TonySarah” (as the villagers call you) for a great week with extraordinary hospitality in a truly unique house. The solitude on the beach in January is very special. We understood the locals think it is to cold for beach life, but for northern Europeans it was paradise. Nice bodysurfing in the ocean, collecting wonderful sea shells and speniding time by the private pool. The service from housekeeper Lane and her cooking, which we chose to enjoy, was first class. Her charming daughter Bi Hay, 6 years old, was great company for my 9 year old son. Another highlight during our stay was the motorcycle ride out on the peninsula, through stunning villages, green rice fields and finally picnic by the rock formations. The little wooden bridge is a little nerve wrecking to pass, but a fantastic memory. As was the trip to Tuy Hoa with our hosts. We will surely come back. Thank you again for nice memories. Petter, Marianne and Malte
Thank you for the kind words. It was a pleasure to have you here and we are very happy that you liked everything. We hope to see you as our guests again. Send our best to everyone.

Peaceful holiday in the heart of a village
From the moment I made my initial enquiry regarding this villa, Sara couldn't be more helpful and in fact, if it wasn't for her guidance/advice I'm not 100% sure if we would have made it to Vietnam.
We arrived & Chut and Loi (the local family looking after the property) were there to welcome us. It was lovely & within a day my kids were playing with the local kids on the beach, even though none of them spoke each other's language. The first 10 days were fabulous, we rented the motorbikes and explored all over from the neighbouring towns to the local markets. It was fantastic and a magical experience culturally. I LOVE, LOVE LOVED it! Chut cooked us the most amazing food too.
Unfortunately there were a few issues, being the following:
The pool went green twice and the first time Loi drained the whole pool, cleaned it & refilled it for us as the owners were not there. The down side to that is that we lost 1.5 days of leisure/pool time (the 1st time & 1 day the 2nd time but because we left early). In 35 to 38 degrees celcius, it was not pleasant without it as we used it daily to cool off. Vietnam was HOT!!! My kids got stung in the sea (jellyfish or something) on numerous occasions so that wasn't an option! As the air conditioning in the living area (lounge/kitchen) does not have the capacity to cool the house down properly, it was like living in a furnace which was unbearable. The pool went green again 2 days before we left & the thought of being couped up in the hot house again was not beyond comprehension (we came from the middle east desert to escape the summer heat) so we left 2 days early & probably would have left earlier had it not been for us having to pay for double accommodation. It was sad as we absolutely loved our time there, the people are so friendly, food is stunning, everything is so cheap - it really is an outstanding place to go. Saying that, we found the responsibility of the house quite a burden as we went on holiday to be carefree/relaxed & with the above problems and a few other minor issues, it sort of became a hassle for us.
Sara and Tony were accommodating regarding the problems.
I would still definitely recommend the villa as a holiday destination as long as you are aware it's remote and VERY hot in August with an inadequate air conditioner in the lounge - 2 out of the 3 rooms were cooled perfectly! We loved Vietnam so much that we can't wait to go back!
Ganh Do is the small fishing village in the province of Phu Yen with panoramic views of the South China Sea. Residents are 1000's and the majority have fishing as their main occupation. In the village you will guaranteed experience the genuine and simple Vietnam where you buy today's goods on the market in the morning. Try to eat and have a coffee on the few and simple but very tasty small restaurants and cafes in the village. A bigger restaurant with good food and English menus can you find just a short walk on our beach. Although it is a small village one can find most things such as water, beer, soft drinks and even telephone and internet cards. The village has a Pagoda, that is a Buddhist temple with a really nice garden where the monks grow much of their food as they are vegans. Pay a visit to the temple and meet the very nice monks when you get there. Remember to dress respectfully for the visit. Nereby the village is a natural phenomena that is difficult to explain and confused many experts called Ganh Da Dia. It is octagonal rocks that rise from the sea. The rocks are probably the village's most famous brand. A trip over the wooden brigde over to the beautiful half island is an unforgetable and stunning ride. Why not rent our jet ski a couple of hours and get around and visit your very own beach or snorkel at the beautiful reefs just a bit away from here. Or take a boat trip with our neighbor in a traditional Vietnamese fishing boat. Visit our spa and enjoy a relaxing massage or get a nice manikyr and pedikyr. Otherwise, it is you yourselves that sets limits to what you want to do, a motorbike ride along the coast to hunt for the ultimate paradise bay attracts some while others are content with a coffee in one of the village's cafes. There are two major cities nearby, Tuy Hoa (40 km south) and Quy Nhon (60 km north). Both cities have airports , train and bus station and there are regular flights / trains and buses to get there from both Hanoi and Saigon. Both cities also have larger supermarkets and a small shopping center where you can find most things even a little Western food. Getting to Ganh Do is quite similar and very easy whether you come from the north or south. From Tuy Hoa to Ganh Do is about 40 minutes drive that we can help you organize. Do you take there own way nuc mam - Than tan ( Fish sauce - Than Tan ) is the stop you should be looking for, from the sign goes the way down to the house. The flight from Ho Chi Minh to Tuy Hoa takes about 1 hour and is the fastest, easiest way to get to our house. Along the road to Quy Nhon are some bigger resorts you can visit. In Nhon Ly is a big resort with a golf court, big pool area and a zoo. To Nha Trang which is the nearest big tourist city it is 160 kilometers and there you can go by taxi, bus or train. There is a wide range of bars, western restaurants and nightclubs. There are many beach and water activities such as jet skiing, catamarans and screen rides, one can also dive and play golf there.
