My property is located 2 miles from the marina at Vallecito Lake, Colorado. The village of Vallecito is a quaint area with a beautiful lake, hiking opportunities, restaurants, markets, woodcarving tour, and 17 miles from Durango, CO for shopping, dining, zip lining and more. Navajo Dam is about an hour away, with World Class fishing. Pagosa Springs is 45 min. away, with multiple hot springs. My cabin is made of logs, with traditional stone porch, fireplace, wood stove, 2300 sq. ft. It is on 4 acres, for privacy, and games. I have a side porch, with a charcoal grill, rocking chair, private watch the critters and the sun set. In the winter enjoy skiing 45 min away at Purgatory or Wolf Creek 90 min away. Durango and Silverton have winter activities like skijoring, Annual Snowdown and more.
January special $100.00 per night. Snow, just in time for Snowdown in Durango

About Teresa D'Aun Nolen
I am a single lady that still works full-time for now. I purchased this home for my retirement, and decided to offer it to travelers for a mountain experience worth trying. I travel alot, and take care of the cabin myself for cleanliness, and I stock amenities, such as charcoal, water, breakfast munchies, coffee and more. My cabin is a great value, and is a relaxing spot to unwind, and enjoy nature.
Teresa D'Aun Nolen purchased this Cabin in 2015

The property was Amazing! The house was beautiful and unique. We loved our stay.
Beauty cabin in a beautiful area. Nice and spacious
My brother and our families went for the Christmas weekend. Not the most child friendly cabin with small trinkets and figurines all over. It was a constant battle keeping our 1-4 year olds away from all the small “toys”. My wife and I stayed in the master bedroom and it was lovely. Only negative about the room is that it did smell like cigarette smoke. My son initially didn’t want to go in because he said it “smelled like grandma”. We were never able to get the TV to work with the dish network but after a while we decided we could go without and were happy. Easy to find cabin with beautiful scenery, nice and secluded. If you’re going with all adults you will absolutely love it. May be a little too cluttered with collectibles if you have small children. In the children’s defense, they all look like small toys lol. Overall we loved it, and just for the purposes of an honest and objective review do I make a point to state the minor negatives.
What a great location for hiking and enjoying hanging seasons.
We cook, so we appreciate the new appliances. Loved playing a new board game on the game table. Thanks for the opportunity to visit north of Durango.
I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. Please come again, and tell all your friends. And next time, maybe you will try the River property you wanted. Thank you Teresa D
Location was great. The property was very well maintained and private.
More than what we were hoping for. Location was perfect and very near the lake. Plenty of space for parking, plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy, inside very comfortable and spacious.
Thank you very much
Please come back anytime and tell your friends.
Very nice well kept house and property. Deer and wildlife easy to see in front yard every evening. Would book again when in the area.
Thank you so much for booking. Please come again and tell your friends
Perfect for a family getaway
The cabin was a perfect layout for our family of 4. The large fireplace made the living room very cozy. We enjoyed the distance from town as it felt reasonably secluded without being too remote. We will definitely be back
Woodcarving tour at Vallecito. Fishing at lake. Zip lining in Durango. Historical downtown Durango. Hot Springs in Pagosa Springs.
