Thank you very much for a wonderful experience. The Cabin offered everything we needed to have an enjoyable time. The Fire Pit was situated in just the right place to offer a natural canopy from the trees above during the rain. We enjoyed the deck by the Creek, but the rocks in the Creek offered a comfortable seat to enjoy our get together in a unique setting. The Kitchen had all the utensils that were necessary to allow us to create everything from omelets to a taco dinner. We also had a delicious chicken dinner. Also even with 5 in our party the cabin provided more than enough space to have a comfortable place to sleep. The early morning view from the the enclosed porch was amazing. It was hard to tear away from this much needed retreat that offered a chance to relax, rejuvenate, and reconnect.
Great time. Weather was nice. Cabin was very roomy.
A little hard to find, but well worth the drive. Our 6 y.o. daughter absolutely loved the place. We could hardly keep her out of the creek, plus she was amazed that they had toys there waiting for her to play with. Went into town a few times (Bryson City), about a 10-15 minute drive, to shop and eat, and also watched fireworks on 4th of July. House has everything you need, full kitchen, gas grill, etc., and an excellent, relaxing environment.

We loved everything about this place. Stayed home every night & used the firepit. Played in the river, ran in the back yard catching fire flys. Were from Fl so we dont have them here. Kids loved it. You cant be outside longer than 5 min without sweating to dealth here in Fl. NC was beautiful.. especially in the evening's so we took advantage of the beautiful outside area.
Plenty of room inside. Very comfy bed. Lots of room. We used the grill, plus the kitchen had everything we needed. Cant wait to go back. Thinking of renting this place again in the fall.
So happy to have found this place! It truly is a little gem. Waking up listening to the creek everyday is exactly what we were looking for. My 5 yr old granddaughter was playing in the creek everyday. The kitchen is stocked with anything you might need. The furniture is comfortable and everything had a cozy feel. Very clean also. We loved the location away from town but close enough to grocery stores, town, and local attractions. Loved all the little touches like books, kids books/toys which got plenty of use by my granddaughter during the trip. I would recommend to anyone and can't wait to book again.
Our family stay there the 2nd week of July and our stay was awesome. The cabin was perfect. Every little detail was taken care of before we arrived. Everything in the cabin was there for us. It was clean and country style and it was great.
The stream running through the property was really awesome. The sound of running water with morning coffee couldn't have been more perfect. My husband spent quite a bit of time with his metal detecting was a blast for him. He was in the stream with our 5 year old granddaughter and they both were having a blast looking for gold. Didn't find any but they sure had fun looking.
The bird feeders were great as we had many visitors throughout the day! I did buy more seed for the person coming behind me to enjoy. The butterflies were everywhere and were a delight to watch.
The cabin location was great. Close to Bryson City and Cherokee which both were a delight. Smokies were only 1/2 hour away and just stunning. Alarka Rd is quite steep and winding but so worth the peace and quiet. About .5 mile up the road (from the cabin) was a huge rock slide waterfall which empties into a small swimming hole was to cool. If you go check it out and look for a pull off on the left side of the road it will not disappoint.
All and all I cannot say how we all enjoyed the stay in our cabin. If you are looking to go to this area it won't disappoint and would recommend this property.
