About the property

'Tween Waters' Tilloo is a three-acre, ocean to sea property, located on Tilloo Cay in the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas. Perched on the Sea of Abaco, the TWT can sleep 6 & affords spectacular vistas from every room and incredible sunsets each night.

You feel a part of the tropical paradise surrounding you yet central air-conditioning protects you from too much of a good thing. Your boat is safe at the TWT dock and visible from the font deck.

Relax on the wrap-around covered decks or bask in the sun on our open Point Deck. TWT is located just south of Tilloo Cut and has easy ocean access for deep-sea fishing! For those who like to snorkel and shell - Tilloo Flats and beach is just around the bend where you can see starfish and sand dollars galore.

The next stop would be Sandy Cay National Underwater Park - so close you can go everyday! It's a must-see treasure! Tahiti Beach is three minutes north or you can hike down the backside of Tilloo to our ocean side beach. Leave the hustle and bustle behind. Relax by the crystal clear water, linger over cocktails, and wander through your vacation, as you become a Tillovian!

About Jim & Kim

We built and live on Tilloo but also in southeast Florida. We enjoy traveling to the mountains too but always return to the warmth of the tropics!

Jim & Kim purchased this estate in 1998

Why Jim & Kim chose Hope Town

The boating & snorkeling is amazing and the views from the houses are breathtaking.

What makes this estate unique

Our ocean and Sea of Abaco views are incredible! We are directly on the Sea and our little reef is our aquarium. You can watch the fish from our front deck as well as our docks!

Fabulous Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Tween Waters for a week with our family and loved it! The 2-bedroom house is fantastic and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We spent lots of time on the dock and in the boat exploring the Sea of Abaco. Kim and Jimmy were wonderful hosts. They know the area well and were quick to give us info on the best spots to visit. We would definitely stay at Tween Waters again!

Had a Relaxing Stay

  • 5 of 5

Sorry for the late review. My Wife and myself stayed for two weeks in Feb. 2014 at the Bungalow. It was a very nice trip. The place is screen by a wraparound porch with air cable and fast wireless internet inside. Everything worked. It was clean and nice privacy from the other cottage. We had a washer dryer available and rented a boat from the owner that enable us to explore other cays and shop in the villages. The 17 footer was very good on gas and had its own separate dock with a boat lift. Owners were helpful and available with good tips and information. The property was big with very nice trails leading to the back shore on the open Atlantic side. We fished and caught supper off the bay and channel right in front of the house. Local bars and restaurants just a short ride away. Buy a couple days of groceries in case of a windy day or two which during our stay was only 2 out of 14. Plenty to do right onsite including fishing snorkling hiking and just kicking back with a view or nap in a hammock. Orchids on the porch were beautiful next to a relaxing rocker.

Had a wonderful experience.

Best 8 days ever - really

  • 5 of 5

We hesitated to recommend TWT because we became instantly selfish of this perfect bungalow situated in the best spot in the Bahamas, if not the world! We didn't want too many others to discover our new secret escape! But we loved the owners/hosts, so... In a word, wonderful!! Our hosts, beyond compare. We are both outdoorsy and adventurous so it was a terrific choice and loved having a rental boat vs. rental car to explore the nearby cays, reefs, beaches, and restaurants! We will be back as soon as we can!

Dream vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect place for us & we could live here. The snorkeling off the dock was fun and amazing, and there are

plenty of fish to catch off the dock.

Jim was a wonderful host, who arranged for us to be picked up and taken back to Marsh Harbour.

Our stay in the cottage was comfortable and lovely! With Wi-Fi, satellite TV and an Internet phone, we were still connected to the world while feeling thousands of miles away from it all. The kitchen was well supplied with spices and we enjoyed many meals and morning coffee on the deck overlooking the water. It was amazing to walk between the waters to watch the sunrise on the ocean, and see the sunset from our porch and dock. Everything was even better than advertised, and we strongly recommend this vacation rental.

We arrived on November 1st with friends from Anchorage, Alaska. Needless to say we were absolutely thrilled with the warm tropical waters. The houses were so clean (happy feet) and so tastefully decorated that it was just a joy to be there. Jim and Kim went out of their way to make our vacations (but in a very unobtrusive way) the most memorable ever. It's the getaway you will never forget. Restaurants in Hope Town are wonderful and great fun. Take the boats out and snorkel in the clearest water you will ever see. We are coming back as soon as we can. Thanks so much, Jim and Kim

A Fabulous Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from an amazing week on Tilloo. Jim and Kim were amazing at providing helpful information before we arrived, and helping with travel planning. We stayed in the bungalow, which was just perfect. I loved the outdoor shower, wrap around porch, and Abaco views. We stopped for groceries before getting to Tilloo, so could cook our own meals, but there were several great dinner options that were a quick boat ride away. Jim always had a great recommendation for a snorkel spot, beach destination, or place to grab a drink, and it was great to be able to borrow fishing and snorkel gear. He make our stay so easy and relaxing.

We lucked out with fabulous weather and week of crystal clear water. I wanted to bottle up that turquoise color and bring it home with me.

I tend to prefer renting a house over hotels for vacations, and being active over sitting at a pool all day, and i couldn't have been happier with finding Tilloo. What a perfect week of boating, beaches, snorkeling, fishing, beautiful sunsets, and grouper sandwiches. And dont miss Monday night BINGO at Captain Jacks, that made me happy. I can't wait to come back to the Abacos, and I'd definitely hope to stay at Tilloo again!

We are located in the middle of the Abaco Islands. Hopetown, Elbow Cay is the island north of us and Lubber's Quarters is located directly across from our island of Tilloo. We have Tilloo Cut which is the deep water pass into the ocean for prime deep sea fishing.

Tilloo Cay Reserve is located on our island. It was established in 1990 & covers 11 Acres. It is a wild and pristine natural environment that provides nesting for Tropic birds as well as other seabirds. Pelican Cays Land and Sea Park is located 20 minutes south of us by boat.

Established 1972 it contains beautiful undersea caves, extensive coral reefs and abounds with terrestrial plant and animal life. Tilloo is a beautiful island with lovely beaches and fabulous water which includes Tilloo Flats - the best place to find sand dollars and view the amazing starfish!
