Great apartment in old town Trapani with balcony to view the Procession.
We were here for 5 days for the Good Friday Procession. The Procession passes right under one bedroom balcony so it was a perfect place to be. The apartment is large so we had plenty of room for 2 couples. It was supplied with everything we needed. I was worried about not having a living space with couch and chairs but the dining area served our purposes just fine. There's lots of great restaurants just steps away and the best gelato just down the street facing the water. Monica, our host, supplied us with lots of information about the Procession, restaurants, and other information about the city. She even found a free parking space for us for the 5 days we were there. We cannot say enough about Monica. She is so gracious and lovely. We managed to lock ourselves out of the apartment on Easter Sunday, and she was right there, telling us not to worry. We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderfull place to stay in Trapani
Nice apartment near the old city ( two steps ). Monica is a very nice person and have take the time to explained everything. The apartment is equipped with all the facility to cook. The house is very clean and have nice bathrooms. We recommanded the comfort and proximity of that location.

To start with, Monica gave us a extremely warm welcome on arrival. The apartment was exceptionally well looked after on top of already being newly renovated. The beds were comfy, bathrooms & kitchen etc were all spotlessly clean and the location was spot on for typical Sicilian restaurants & bars. To give you an idea on level of care that Monica has put into the apartment, the on-suite bathrooms are both color coordinated with matching towels and robes (which were all perfectly ironed). I'm already recommending staying here to friends as well as thinking about returning again with my partner. Undoubtedly a great place to stay, do not hesitate booking. A 10/10 rating from us.

This was a lovely apartment! There were five in our party and it provided enough space for both families. There was plenty of hot water and everything was very clean and fresh.
Monica was extremely helpful and kind. She went out of her way to help us obtain some of our great-grandparents' records which my sister had been trying to track down. She also gave us great restaurant suggestions and even made reservations on our behalf when she found out we wanted to go. The location was also great, we were close enough to walk to dinner and the ferry for when we decided to explore a local island. I would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay in Trapani at this apartment!
From start to finish, we could not have asked for a nicer place to stay in Trapani. Monica was there to greet us upon arrival at the apt. She recommended restaurants and answered our questions. When we had additional questions regarding parking, she met usand showed us where we could park. She made dinner reservations for us, and helped us find the laundromat.
The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated that each bedroom has its own bathroom with plenty of hot water. The location was good for us, right in the heart of the old part of the city. From Trapani, we were able to go on daytrips to nearby areas. We enjoyed Trapani as well, especially the restaurant La Mura.
Thanks so much to Monica, for making our visit to Sicily so wonderful!
Ideal home away from home.
Your stay on Corso Vittorio Emanuele near Piazza Jolanda is ideally located for day trips in and near Trapani. 45 minutes to Segesta and Alcamo, 20 minutes to the salt flats of Nubia, 20 minutes to Erice, 1 hr 15 min to Palermo, 2 hr 15 min to Agrigento or Piazza Armerina.
The apartment can accomodate 6 people. We were 5 adults and were comfortably settled. Other than day trips by car, we walked everywhere. Coffee cafes served up delicious cappucinos and fresh pastries. Depending on what your hunger required, there are eateries everywhere. The pizzeria 3 doors up from the apartment served outstanding pizzas and "patate". Gastronomia Siciliana is a 15 minute walk and the selection of food was delicious. And, the house wine was refreshing. Don't forget your pasiaggio along Via Vittorio Emanuele after your evening meal. Enjoy small shops and eateries, beautiful architecture and occasional art exhibits.
Monica made reservations for us at Le Mura Restorante. We celebrated the birthdays of my daughter-in-law's parents. After 3 hours, 4 courses, ample house wine and a delicious dessert, our celebration ended with another chorus of " Happy Birthday".
For my next trip to western Sicily, Monica's " Home away from home " will be my refuge.
Thank you, Monica, for all your help in making this a memorable vacation.
