Casale Amati, La Marchesa is born in an ideal geographical context, near the sea, the Cinque Terre, Versilia, the Apuan Alps, the Carrara quarries, important historic cities such as Sarzana, Lerici, Lucca, Pietrasanta, Pisa, Florence.
In 1300 d. C. there was already a water crusher. A source of pure water allowed the movement of heavy stone mills and gears used for the production of a fragrant oil produced with olives ripened in the sun on the surrounding hills. The Marquis Amati, owner of the oil mill and land, decided to live in this beautiful place and began the expansion of the mill, the complete transformation into housing units by the heirs of the Marquis took place in the second half of the '900. The renovation, made with love and respect for the style and original features, has wanted to preserve many of the unique and fascinating features, so much so that inside the structure you can still admire many of the peculiarities and the ancient authentic furnishings.
Outside, 7000 square meters of land surround Casale Amati, with vine crops, olive trees, fruit trees, walnuts and hazels that offer a quiet privacy and regenerate the spirit in a natural environment full of charm.
